TSC Consolidated 485 Tracker

Folks from Indian/China:

I filed I485 on May 2006 and had a last LUD on 7/11. Since then, it is very quiet. Does anyone have the similar situation like me? There are often some approvals and LUDs reported here or there. It is a little confusing without knowing their nationality. If those cases are most from non-retrogressive countries, then it does not tell us (Indian/China people with EB2 or EB3) very much. I am very anxious to see any cases from Indian/China with EB2 get approved...

Hope WE will get a big wave of approval in Oct. if we are waiting for the quota now...

I had my last LUD on 7/29. Nothing afterwards.

Just relax and wait. :) My RD is beginning of April and I did not see LUD's since my EAD/AP approvals. I'm from non retrogressed country EB2. Cases are picked up randomly. Some of them are stuck in namecheck.

I am also from India. My EB2/I-485 RD is Apr 06. I had my last I-485 LUD on the day and very next day of my FP done. After that there is no LUD on my I-485. But I had seen couple of LUDs on my approved I-140 recently.

Unfortunately, Oct will going to have approvals of India-EB2 for only those people whose PD is before Jun 15, 2002.

Let's hope for Nov. 2006.

Why are you expecting only Ind-EB2 approvals in Oct ? Why not EB3 ?
 
RFE on 485

A few days ago there were RFEs for both me and my spouse. Waiting for actual RFE letters. Any ideas what they might be about? Anybody had similiar experiences?
 
Does it indicate it got stuck in extended name check ?

This sounds similar to my case ( mince is a recent application ) . There were LUDs on I-1485 following the FP. But after that none. The approved I-140 kept on getting LUDs.
 
Just 2c worth of info: I've got an e-mail from USCIS that my daughter's AP has been approved on September 13th. I've filed I-131 for her online on August 3rd (didn't use attorney, just e-filed the form, paid by credit card and mailed them the photos and the copy of her I-485 receipt). It's EB-2 world (if this matters).
The funny thing is that the message I've got this time is different from the one I got about my and my spouse's AP approvals. In our case there wasn't an 'approval notice', but rather they said 'the document is mailed to whom it is issued'. Just wonder, why would the messages differ...

I am sorry..I didn't mean only EB2 approvals...Mine is EB2, so I mentioned that way.

We can expect India EB3 approvals in Oct.for only whose PD is prior to Apr 22, 2001

AP approved in 3 weeks

At least some action in my case. I received the approved AP document today, after applying on August 15.

Still, no LUDs or even a breeze of action in the 485s.

I never able to understood the LUD pattern. My I-140 approved with only one LUD after pending 5 months. I also seen few got multiple LUDs prior to their I-140 approval. It was never been consistent. Based on previous postings, it was also proved that few got approvals without too many LUDs. (After FP LUD, just they got one LUD before approval)

First of all, you no need to worry about name check nightmare now.
In my opinion, we can start assuming that we got struck in extending name check process from the following point:

You’re PD is current and your RD is 30 days beyond the Service Center Processing date.

Hi,

I received a status update saying ...

we transferred your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status to an office in VERMONT SERVICE CENTER for processing. Our office in VERMONT SERVICE CENTER will send you a written decision as soon as processing is complete. You should receive a notice informing you that your case has been transferred to a local office.


I filed my labor from New Jersey. Sent papers to Nebraska but the case transferred from Nebraska to Texas service center. TSC approved my I-140,AP and EAD .

Now , why are they transferring I-485 to Vermont. Anybody in similar situation or any idea why ?

OK. I wish they put more info at the online tracking webpage,
like sent FP for cearance on xx/xx/xxxx
sent for name check on xx/xx/xxxx
etc.
Too much ?!

Very simailar situation for me also. According to lastest processing date, TSC is processing cases around March, 2006. I hope we can have good news in next two monthes.
