ZKHAN said:I got my ead renewed last week. As usual it was a pain going to that office . One tip for anyone who is going for the ead renewal, be there half an hour early. Now if your appointment is for 9:00 clock they collect the approval letter around 8:45 and if you get there at nine you have to wait for them to process every one (meaning when they(9:00 clock appointment) are done and left then the person comes out to pick up new letter from the table in the waiting room. The person who takes the letter from the table is doing some other things related to making those eads so be there early otherwise you will have to wait for thirty to forty minutes.
I saw that fat women(second floor info desk lady) in the waiting room. I believe she speaks spanish so any one who speaks spanish here should try it on her, may be she will help you more. Senator's office is working on my case and hopefully I will hear something soon.

Do you mean you have to go to the local office to get the new EAD after it's approved? How long did it take to get the approval letter? When did you mailed the application to the local office, or did you mail it to the service center?
I mailed my EAD renew application on 11/4/04, but havn't got anything from them yet, no receipt. But they've cashed my check. Did you receive any receipt before you got the approval letter?
My current EAD is expiring on 1/14/05, and I am using the EAD to work. Does any one here knows about the interm EAD in this local office?
Thanks a lot in advance, I would really appreciate any of your answer.
