Transfer VSC -> TSC

Hi Guys,

Just found out that my case got transferred to Lincoln, NE.

My I-140 was submitted to Vermont ND: Feb 6 2006.

So much for transferring cases only from April onwards !!!

Any thoughts ? ....... do you think it will get processed any faster ?

Any ideas on processing times ? Do you think my RD or ND would stick with my application and fall into the Feb queue at NE or go back to the end ?

Thanks in advance.

The same e-mail i received today.

My I-140 was submitted to Vermont ND: Jan 10 2006

LUD:06/03/06,05/05/06

I dont know why they transfer our case to district office Lincoln, NE

And how long to get approved.

Thanks in advance
Shehneel

case transfered to TSC

My case; receipt date 03/30/06, notice date 03/31/06 also transferred to TSC today. Seems VSC is transferring all pending I-140 cases to either TSC or NSC, though filing done before cut-off date of 04/01/06.

Disclaimer: I'm not a lawyer, reader just like you, so act accordingly.

Nitin,
Congratulations!!! If the new immigration reform bill get passed, you may be able to apply for citizenship in 4 years!

michvin,
I guess your approval is coming any days. I don't think your case will be transferred. All the best of luck.

Any VSC filers under cross-chargibility in Feb/March 2006

I filed in March concurrently using cross chargeability..

nitin_verma1,
Congrats man!! Good to see some major action in VSC.. Please also share your news in the CC thread.. There are plenty who will be thrilled with your CC success..

My I-140 was transferred from VSC-NSC on May 5th , If that is the case do i fall under NSC's processing time i.e, as per the receipt date ? or i am still with VSC's processing time ?

I am filed under Cross chargeability too in VSC.

140/485/EAD/AP ND: 3/21/06
Code 3 biometrics done 4/4/06

LUD on 485 on 4/5 and 4/6 but nothing on the others since 3/23.

Waiting for that approval email...

Hopefully VSC is picking up processing power!

Even i have filed in VSC using Cross-charge...rule
RD is 07-March...
AP/EAD approved
485 LUD's on 04/11 last

Hi 2006GC,

Today, I received a series of emails stating that
my case was received in TSC on 5/9/06.
My LUD also was changed. Originally, transfer notice was received on 4/24. I am not sure why it takes so long time between transfer notice and receipt notice.

I would like to know whether you have received similar emails
and the LUD change. Could you share your experience?

Thanks.

NIW-GC,

You seemed to be the first lucky person to receive the email that your case was "received" in TSC. I haven't received such a notice yet. Could you share the exact wording of your notice? Some people who received a similar notice got approval on the same day. It is good to see that TSC started touching cases transfered from VSC.

NIW-GC,
Thanks for sharing the message. I was following CSC-TSC transfer cases. People who received the same notice got approval notice shortly, sometimes as early as tbe same day. So you could get some good news pretty soon. Looks like TSC are finishing up processing CSC-TSC transfer cases and starting to process VSC-TSC transfer cases.

NIW-GC,
I too think TSC is wrapping up with CSC transfers. TSC is now touching the petitions from VSC (that were transferred). I received five emails in total yesterday around 11:15pm. It is pretty hard to say when we will receive a decision. Lately, the transferred cases from CSC were adjudicated within 2 days after the receipt notice. However, when the CSC transfer initially reported, many received the receipt notices within two to three days, but their cases were adjudicated only after several weeks in the following order: EB3, EB2, EB2-NIW, EB1, concurrent filing.

NIW-GC and 2006gc,
I just received 5 emails (2 from USCIS-CSSO and 3 from CRIS). I hope we get favorable decisions soon.
