Hello my dear friends,
Last week I received an email from USCIS telling that my I-140 was approved on 04/25. Sorry I posted the information one week later because I need to get my atterney receive my approval notice and send me a copy, in order to make sure everything is fine. Then I can update you with real and accurate information.
If you look into this thread you know that I was participating in some dicussion before. Basically it was about the PD shown on my FP notice was wrong(it was my case RD instead of my real PD). From the I-140 approval notice it shows right- the PD is at Feb 2002.

I just got my labor approval... from California.. I must now getting in line for the next step... I am wondering if I should go CP or 485?
Here is the thing:
based on my PD which is Feb 2002 I am eligible for concurrent filing... besides I am going to file in EB2 which makes it even more simple to concurrently file... California is now processing Nov 2004 so looks like I am 6 months away.... given this does it make sense to file 485 or CP.... what is the processing time for CP?
Can I file 140 first and after a few days/weeks file 485 and still get the benefit of concurrent filing or should I know up front what I should be doing..

Yes, my attorney received 140 notice by mail and PD on it. I don't know my 140 reciept number since our HR was reluctant to tell 140 number and I don't want to fight with them though I know my right.

You can check with your attorney to make sure he used your own LC to file I-140. If that is the case you are fine- see this thread of my post in last November: I got the FP notice with the PD as my I-140 RD. It brought a huge worry to me. Finally it turned to be ok because my I-140 approval notice shows the PD is the correct one(back to 2002).myjeevan said:

There was no Lud on 485 after FP update
on I140 I had an RFE asking for a letter saying what are the positions I held in the company for last 7 years. RFE was received by INS on 01/07/2005 , till today there was no LUD.
I was actually getting nervous RFE reply was about 90 days ago.
Today my prayers are answered.

140 approved, RFE on 485
Today I received few emails, two for 485 RFE for me and for my wife.
One for 140 approval. I and my wife both had LUD on 485 on 4/29/2005.
I don't know what this RFE is about yet?
One thing I have noticed that if you get a LUD near the end with out any msg change then it’s more likely that you'll get a RFE.
Does any body know how much time INS is taking to clear 485 RFEs?
Is there any body out there who is in the same situation as me?
