H1-B 1 year Extension

Gurus,

When applying for the 1 year H1-B extn after completion of 6 years, does one have to reapply for LCA, even if the job title and description has not changed since getting the H1B?

The reason I ask is that if the prevailing wage is more than Salary at the current moment, could the h1B extn be rejected?

Also, what approximate waittimes are folks experiencing for H1 Extn approval?

If I start off on a regular H1B extn application, can I jump on expedited processing queue later on by paying the extra $1K?

In my experience the site is updated more towards the end of the day. They dont update the case statuses first thing in the morning.
I think they update the site if there is any update to your case, in the afternoon. This is just my observation, you might experience something different.

its more like around 3:00 and 4:00 CST.
At least that saves you the agony of checking the status frantically all day long

Thanks buddy!!! i dont know whats going in TSC first week processing of OCT 03 its 1st April already.. almost 6 months then revalidation 4 months ...Guys! Please update the Oct list as soon as you hear anything ?

According to the thread tracking revalidaion, the latest stamping took 2 months and 10 days.

I found in VISAPro.com forums.

Hey guys,
I think i found something ,here is what i found when i try using different reciept no.'s just to see which one is current i found some of the 7th OCT have been approoved on 30th and 31st March
Here is the format for 7th OCT SRC04006XXXXX and for 6th SRC04005XXXXX so on and so forth but i still found few I129 for the 7th OCT which still are in porcess status I hope this will help ??
Please share your experince ?
