My 485 Application is finally approved. I would to thank this forum and its members that have provided me with very useful information. Thanks!

PD July 17, 2002 - EB3
1-140 RD Oct 12, 2004: AD June 24, 2005
FP Scheduled 6/25/05, Done early on 6/16/05
I-485 RD Oct 12, 2004: AD June 28, 2005

Did you notice any change in LUD before getting approval?
 
Which city did you do the finger printing

1. I did early FP in Atlanta (Buford location)
2. 485 had LUD changes on 6/16/05 and 6/17/05
140 had LUD change on 6/24/05
3. No, to Schedule A Occupation
4. No, to any retrogress countries

I140 Rfe

Hi,
I am new to this forum. I filed I140 and I485 concurrently under EB2 on october 26 2004.
On april 20 2005 I got an email notification from USCIS stating that they mailed RFE. I didn't get that RFE so my attorney requested them to send a second copy on may 26. Even after 30days i didn't recieve it. I will be almost 90 days from my first email notification. I already filed apetition thru liasion ofiicer. In this situation will they cancel my I140 as 90days is approcahing.
If anybody has advice please suggest me. Your guidance is appreciated.

Any updates on the physical card at your end..my LUD changed again on 07/01, 07/04, 07/05 and 07/06, but there has been no change in the message. Would appreciate if you could share your status.

Is it approved?

I have received email last weekend as below. Looks like it is for green card. However, I would like to make sure that it is really for approval. I saw some messages regarding 485 approval, saying that people receive approval mail before this mail regarding card itself. Is it possible to omit the approval mail? If it is the case, what do I need to do? just wait for card?

Congratulations..... You will get card in mail in few days. I guess you did FP code 3.
 
No Visa Numbers for EB3 until Oct 1st.

Does anyone understand what it means that there are no visa numbers available for EB3 until Oct 1st 2005.

As we are still seeing approvals coming in?

amoogye got approved July 8th. The reason I am curious is I went for FP on June 29th and my lawyer keeps stressing on nothing will happen before Oct 1st.

Do post something if anyone knows anything. Thanks in advance..
 
Amoogye, what's your priority date ? Are you from one of those countries not affected by EB3 retrogression?

Yes, Visa numbers are not available for EB3 until atleast oct 1st 2005 for some countries like India, China..etc.

The approvals may for people from some other countries not affected by retrogression.

So, looks like my 485 is really approved!!!. I updated my info in our file.
GCLANDS. my priority date is September, 2001. I am from Korea.

Approved?!?

I got emails (10 of them for the same case) with the exact same message as amoogye's message.
"On July 8, 2005, after approving your application, we ordered you a new
card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready."

Does this mean the Green Card is approved and we don't have to take
any Info Pass appointments since it says that they have already ordered the card?
Is InfoPass appointment optional?
My finger printing had code 3.
