I do see the priority date in my I-140 approval notice which is actually a I-797 document. It also includes the receipt and notice dates of the I-140 application.

Congratulations pcc. That is very good news indeed. I received a copy of the approval notice from my lawyer today and the approval date is actually October 31, 2005. The status for my case hasn't changed yet on the USCIS website. I dont think it will change again but who cares. :)

pcc, are you affected by retrogression too?

fortunately I'm not affected by retrogression as I'm in EB2 rest of world. My atty wants to file the 485 as soon as possible. He is concerned that all EB2 may retrogress at some point. It may impact my future wife however as we did not expect on getting approval so soon and currently plan to marry early next year.

The consoling factor for you is that you can now get another 3 year H1b based on the approved I140.

It looks like all of you are using your own LCA..No Substitutes... am I right..? If not pls comment..

My I-140 ND is 10/26 (Substitute Labor) ..no lud yet.. just trying to see if any Sub-labors are also apaproved fast or they are become very strict on this ?? If not..I should be expecting my Approval in a week or 2.

I-140 with labor substitution

MaviP, my I-140 was applied with an EB3 subst labor. RD: 20-Oct-05. LUD 24-Oct-05. Still waiting. Looks like, I-140s w/ original labor are getting approved quickly.
 
485 tracker

Is there a simiar forum/thread for I485 tracking? I've not found any active thread that provided as much information as this one has...
 
What is LUD

Please pardon my ignorance but what is LUD date ? is that the receipt issuance date.
TSC issued my I140 receipt number and I see on their website that they received my application on 10/24/05. Is that my LUD ?

If you register on the site when you see your portfolio there is a
"Last Update Day" some of us believe that this day is updated as the file
moves through the process, but it may well be just speculation.

I-140 approved w/ pre-approved labor

Just to follow up. I received an email today that my I-140 petition has been approved and approval letter has been mailed on Nov 09. My RD was 20-Oct-2005. 1st LUD was 24-Oct-2005 and 2nd LUD is 09-Nov-2005. The petition was submitted with an original pre-approved EB3 LC. Now I can withdraw my own RIR EB3 labor application from Dallas backlog elimination center. Thank you God:)

11/07/05 - calles USCIS and started enqurity on I140 and it
takes one month to get the feedback)


Any one knows why delay on my I140 approval?

Could you pls tell me whether urs was a 10+2+4 degree or 10+2+3+1 ...

Because I read today in immigration-law.com that Service centers are denying 140 if its not straight 12+4 degree... just a small worry on this.. otherwsie I should be expecting mine in a week or so.. since there is 4/5 days difference your application and mine..

Hi MaviP. as the title says, the requirement on the LC was a bachelors degree in Computer Science or Computer Engg. I had a 4 yr bachelors degree in Computer Sciecne & Engg. Hope that helps.

Any I-140 submitted before 08/05/05 to Texas is pending?

My I-140 (NIW) petition is still pending. The Receive Date is 08/05/05.
Last update is 08/26/2005.

The current processing date for all the I-140 types in Texas center on Nov 4, 2005 is already 08/24/2005.

What could happen to my case?
What should I do?

RFE on labor

Hi,
CIS sent RFE on my I140 as well. It was about requesting evidence from my employer to show their financial situation to prove they can afford my salary.

It was about my work experience from former employer. I had submitted a reference letter from a former collegue, but USCIS wanted experience letter on former company letter head.

Received an email that my I140 was approved today by TSC. Now hoping for EB3 India to get current soon and/or the new bill getting passed.

PD: August 2001
Labor Certified: Oct 12 2005
I140 Applied: Oct 27 2005
I140 Approved: Nov 18 2005
 
Should I-140 be applied within 45 days of labor certification ????

and also please let me know ( point me to the link ) what are the documents needed for I-140..........

do i need to include dependents in I-140 stage ?
