It was regular paper submission through fedex.

I paid by my personal checks, so got src# as soon as USCIS encashed my checks (that was after 4 business days). src# were on back of the checks image which I got from my online bank account. rd/nd were confirmed when lawyer sent me the copy of all the reciepts after a week.

Swami, those were the days when employers used to pay. (There are very few employers nowadays who pay for GC expense.) I even paid for I-140 fees to USCIS.

FP Notice for 140/485 filed in Apr04

Looks like only msatl & N11 are left... did you guys receive FP notice?

FP Notice

Both my wife and I have received FP notices. My wife has her FP scheduled for 11/02 (tomorrow), and mine on 12/01. We tried to give the FPs on Saturday, but there were too many people, and we were asked to come on Tuesday. I will try to give mine also on Tuesday.

Please advise

Did anyone receive FP notice for Orlando, FL in last few months. Do you guys know after filing I485, how many months approximately taking in Orlando, FL to receive or do FP.

MY RD is 09-15-04 and I need to travel to India for couple of months. I am worried that if I receive FP notice before end of Jan 2005, I might miss the appointment.

If I miss the appointment, please advise on the procedure to re-schedule the appointment.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

My wife did her FP a few minutes ago in Atlanta. It took about 50 minutes, and the experience was pleasant. They covered about 16 people in 50 minutes. However, they did not do mine. They put my name in their wait list, with no guarantee of doing it today. It seems Tuesdays and Saturdays are the busiest days for them, and walk in can be attempted on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday after 2 pm.
 
My FP experience

FP originally scheduled for 12/01/2004, Buford Hwy ASC, Atlanta.

Tried walk in at 1.15 pm today.

The security guard read out the standard statements - we are taking FPs for today's appointments, you will be waitlisted, there is no guarantee that you will be served today which means you could wait till 4 pm, but still be not FPed. He took down my name. There were about 20 names before me.

At 2.25 pm, he called out my name, and gave the Applicant Information Worksheet. Filled out the form, and got the token at 2.28 pm. There were 8 people before me. There were about 10 FP machines.

Technician called my number at 2.40 pm.

Completed FPs, their internal QA certified the prints and walked out at 2.48 pm.
 
updated my info with my recent FP dates

I did my finger printing today at Buford Hwy, Atlanta, Location. Updated the excel spread sheet with the info.

The guys who got their EAD and AP approved recently, have you gotten it for more than 1 year or just 1 year ?

I will do FP at Buford Hwy, Atlanta too next month. How long it took you to do FP from get in to get out?
