EAD approved

Got CIS email notification that my spouse's EAD was approved with Receipt Date of 6/4/2004 and Approval Date of 7/8/2004. No word on mine. I am the primary applicant though. Since there is only one spot to enter EAD approval, I did not update the spreadsheet.

I-140 - RD: 3/11/03, AD: 7/9/04 :) :D
I-485 - RD: 3/11/03, Fingerprints 5/03/03 ... AD : Still Pending
EB-2 Concurrent (NIW) - Employer Sponsored

My Last Update (on my I-140 and I-485) was always showing (5/29/03) Till today (7/12/04)... now the LUD on my I-140 says 7/12/04. My I-485 is still showing LUD (5/29/03)....

But the I-140 was the important one... I don't know if they are going to process the I-485 soon but it says (800-895 days) on the web site. (I will keep you guys up to date if anything changes... I did file concurrently)

Other info:

1.- My employer sent an inquiry on June 8, 2004 with no response yet.
2.- I DID NOT send/ask for a letter from my governor, senator or any other person. (My attorney said it is a waist of time... personal opinion)
3.- No RFE or status update until today (email + web site)

I am currently under an H1B expiring in November. (No Worries now!)

I think I covered it all... but do not hesitate to ask any question!

FPs for 04 filers

It si not correct that only 03 filers got their FPs quickly. I searched on the USCIS website and found many 04 filers of 485 are done with their FPs. Here are some examples - fill in the last two number yourself as I don't want to be the one disclosing anyone's number here :)

Lot of the applictions filed on October 2nd has their FP done.

May be the FPs stopped coming later on may be on the decision of TSC to not call for FP if 485 is not near adjudication date.

my I-140 was also approved on July 9

Here is my info:

I-140, RD: 3/17/2003, AD: 7/9/2004
I-485: RD: 9/12/2003, FP: 11/22/2003, still pending
NIW

Hope 485 will get approved soon....

Well no doubt that TSC is running, but it still is snail's pace. They are approving march'03 cases now even though in the update they say it is May 25th. Big Fat Liars :mad: :mad: :mad:

When will they reach the year end cases at t his pace ? VSC is already in Dec'03 currently :mad: :mad:

In fact, in addition to many March 2003 approval, some of the approvals are from first week of June 2003 as well. So time report isn't wrong. As soon as the cases were given to some officers desk they update the time report internally. It is up to officer to pick the files from his own pile of cases. And hence we see the approvals in random order.

Recent approval rating shows a good progress compared to 3 months ago. Don't you think?

My wife's AP got approved in 28 days. Since i have not applied for my AP i have used the AP space to indicate my wife's AP.
 
Is semi-concurrent good?

Good Morning Gurus

If I file I-140 and file I-485 after getting I-140 receipt, will it be considered concurrent? I guess this thread is calling this as semi-concurrent in excel sheet. Can some one help me on this? Will I-140 be approved separately? Do you guys have authentic source of information on this? Thanks for the help.

Looks like some of the 140s did get approved on Jul 09 03.

Case Details:
Reciept Date: Mar.10,2003; Approval Date: Jul.09, 2004
Category - EB-3, RIR

OTHER INFO:
1. I have not contacted the Congressman or the Senator....
2. A while back (50 days back), had opened the inquiry, but got the reply mail to the employer - saying, that my case was still pending (I really don't think, it really help - Don't take my word for it)

Can you tell us if your case was concurrent or not ? Or are you going for consular processing ?
Looks like TSC started to remember they had 140 applications too.

Just got an email this morning requesting additional evidence for both me and my wife's EAD application. Is this something to worry about?

Regarding RFE

Pinoy,

I would not worry to much about the RFE. My wifes AP app. got an RFE and the reason according them was that the application was missing some papers. My lawyers sent them all the papers but they lost a couple. All we had to do was resend those papers. Your RFEs might also be of a similar nature. INS has been known to lose papers and applications.

I-140: RD: 10/2/2003, LUD: 10/7/2003

I-485: RD: 10/2/2003, FP: 1/6/2004

Anybody in the same boad as I am?
