Peterwang60,
When I saw your xls sheet I thought you are calculating the Number days manually so here is the formula which you can use to calculate automatically in Excel sheet …..

=CONCATENATE(ROUND(ROUND(((K6-D6)*1440),0)/1440,0)," Days")

Thanks
Shashi

peterwang60 : Appreciate your time.

Just to fill in the blanks in the xls , my RD is 7/7/02 and FP was done on 12/26/02.

I wish there would be an RFE for us, so that I know they are doing someting with the case. ND 1/9/2003, FP1 5/22/2003, nothing since then........

It is interesting (at least to me) that the average number of business days between RFE and approval is 11 days. Where the cases have not yet been approved the average is 19 days. This suggests that there are at least 2 populations. Where the cases are 'adjudication ready' approval is swift. Where there is something else, adjudication is indeterminate.

I-140 RFE and EAD

Hi Friends,

I want to share some of the information with you. My I-140 RD 02/05/2004. I and my wife I485, I-765 and I-131 RD 03/05/2004. I got I-140 RFE requesting Employer Tax returns and my W-2 forms. My employer delayed submitting Tax returns. He submiitted on June 4, 2004. June 7, 2004 I wentn local office to ask for iEAD. INS Personannel told me that my case on HOLD. Once INS receive RFE and update I can come and collect it. Earlier my friends told me that there is no relation between I140 and I-485.

I agree with this paul, I also have reached same conclusion. Once above 20 days..you are kind of "gone for a while" case. I, unfortunately, am going to be one of these cases. :(

my info

RD 10/02
ND11/02
RFE 5/6/02 for employment (responded 6/1) - no receipt from INS yet.

GRCA,
I think the next thing we shall look forward to is the second FP. I had the same FP date as you did.
You are right. We may have FP2 some time. But there was a thread in VSC where dsatish had concluded that if RFE was sent just around FP1 expiry, then chance of FP2 are remote. I know there have been few case contradicting this. If we are to get FP2, then there is no established time line as to when we will get it. That makes it even more indefinite.
