Yep, this is true. However my case is still in the same state as before, from other hand it was received by DOL late September'02. The status change posted above in this thread (by Arvind Daga) gives some hope that remanded cases at least will be considered on case by case basis, and not remanded on a general assumption. Good luck to everybody!

Mine was Auto-Remanded

Mine was simply Auto-Remanded to state. We didn't get any 3 option letter etc. Now status is changed to 'Received'.

My LC got the three options letter and eventually remanded to state. I dont know the status of my case as my lawyer doesnot give the case number and other info as we are only the beneficiaries.

I want to know if anybody in this forum who got a 3 options letter and the LC went back to state and now back in DOL. If yes please post details.

I checked AVM and say it has been certified.

Auto Remanded : Jun 10, 2003
AVM : certified Nov. 4, 2003

Does anyone else get similar experience?

One of my collegue's case got certified:

DOT Code : 999.151-032
DOT Description : Computer Software Engineers, Systems
Received Regional Office: 08/12/2002
Status : Remand Issued to State On 06/10/2003.
Status update: Certified on Nov 4th.

Mine is still "received after a remand"

Also your details would help the people who are still waiting in remand.
 
Although I'm not sure, I would say that he must have done something. He did something for me to change my remanded status from non-RIR to RIR.

My case still says Remanded to the Sate

Lets keep the Forum informed about any changes to Remanded cases. It seems that DOL is looking at cases again since Aug.
My company had about 4 cases with RD's between Aug 16th and Oct 21st 2002. All had the same DOT code of 999.151-051.
The last case RD Oct 21 2002 was certified on Oct 22 2003

The cases I am talking about are:

095309xx 999.151-051 RD 08/16/02 Remanded 6/16/03
095311xx 999.151-051 RD 08/26/02 Remanded 6/20/03
095316xx 999.151-051 RD 09/10/02 Remanded 6/26/03
095335xx 999.151-051 RD 10/21/02 Certified 10/22/03
 
Remanded Cases

Just spoke with the HR people at my Company. They contacted the CA SESA regarding my case. This is what the SESA people told them.

They (the company) has to formally send a request to the SESA to send the Remanded cases back to DOL to process as per new Guidelines issued. Unless the company sends that request SESA would not resend the Remanded Cases back to DOL.

Hope this helps everybody.
