I am also in the same situation as you. I applied for H1 on August 13th, 2005 and got RFE on September 12th. My lawyer will be applying to the RFE next week(hopefully).

My RFE is regarding "How is masters degree required for this position". Can you tell me what is your RFE? And what does your lawyer think are the chances of an approval. My lawyer tells me it should not be a problem but I am really tensed up as I am really depending on this H1.

It would be really helpful if you could tell me what is your RFE so that I can atleast be assured that receiving an RFE is not a really that bad.

Also I would be grateful if you could keep me posted about your status. I will do the same on my part.

Can someone confirm if the online USCIS status is upto date.

If it says "....application being processed....." - is it always correct or is it possible that the case has been approved or further information requested and that part is not updated online.

It is possible....My wife H1B was approved on Oct 11th and the site got updated on Oct 13th....
 
I too have the Same problem.
My Employer says they got my H1 approval papers..but the online doesnt reflect the same. It still says it takes around 90 to 150 days for processing these kind of Applicants.
I informed this to my Employer, they say the Site is not updated.My employer got Approval papers on 6th Oct but till now online doesnt reflect.
Do anyone has this problem...
can some helpme out..
 
H1B Extension is for my wife.

Another question I had was the when the attorney filed her original H1B, they did Educational Evaluation as she has non-computer science degree. Now for the H1B extension, the attorney did not do Educational Evaluation.

Any views on this as I was not sure if he had to submit either the original Educational Evaluation with the Extension or do a new Educational Evaluation.

My last updated date has been changed from 7/25 to 10/10, but there is no change in the status. I also informed my employer about this change. It's been about a week since this update has happened, but my employer hasn't received anything from USCIS yet. So, we know that something is happening but don't know what exactly it is.

If anyone in the forum has more info on this, please update the forum for the benefit of others. Thanks.
