Hey fellas,

Most of the July applicants have got their approval letter. But how many of them have got the letter from the their employer in USA. As far as the update that i had recieved from the Vermont Center, it says that 14 days are required for you to get the letter. Already 10 days have passed since i have got the approval, but no news from the employer ?.

Any idea what up ??

got notice on 2nd Nov requesting additional evidence and information.
how long will this procedure take? any idea?

The RFE is good sign because it means an officer is looking at your application. Once you reply for that it's matter of a week or so to get the approval.

I have also got RFE. My lawyer has not yet replied to it.

I agree with rg140 that RFE is good as far as processing time is concerned.

But apart from that RFE means that the officer has some doubts in your case which need to be clarified. It is not a negative sign either and it all depends on your case, your RFE, and your lawyer's reply to it.

Please keep me posted as I am in the same boat.

RFE - May 15th - Regular

Receipt date of 15th May (Regular Process)
Got notice on 3rd Nov Requesting Additional Evidence and information. :confused:

Still awaiting papers.

QUESTION - will there be a new I-94 with the approval papers?
Her current I-94 expired on Oct 31. She has no intention of travel as of now.

I guess I do not understand how the new I-94 deal works.

My recipt date is Sept 1st and it is filed for extension with the same employer as well. The USCIS web site states they are currently processing July30 cases. Was ur wifes case filed under premium processing or regular. Thank you.

Rfe

Hi,
I received RFE on 25th Oct and then we responded back by 1 Nov. USCIS received the RFE response on 4th of Nov, the status was changed on the website and I received the email notification too. But now today again the last updated date is changed to 7th Nov and the status is same.
Last time when the date was updated and the status was same, i got the RFE. I am wondering whats going to happen now. In RFE they just wanted few more sal slips....
My questions are
Can u receive RFE after u have already received one?
Is there anyone who got the RFE and got the approval too.

I do not think that you can receive a second RFE after already receiving one. The next step would be for the officer to make a decision. If the RFE was just for some more sal slips then I think your case should be straightforward and you should not have any problem.

My RFE is how my educational background is relevant to my job?

it was regular processing w/ same employer i.e. extension. Our receipt date was Aug 25. I think your approval should be coming up soon. As per what I read here, there is no 1 method that they are following to approve, i.e. I do not think the website priority dates are accurate.

Form from INS for replying to a RFE

I received an RFE on OCT 28 regarding the H1B date employer was requesting(it basically exceeded 6 year limit) and my Employer/Lawyer are telling me that they are waiting for some "FORM" that they need to get from INS and they need to fill and sent back to INS for FINAL approval.

It has been more than 10 days and we have not received the ORIGINAL FORM by mail.

I am concerned about what is really going on and do not know what this filling of "FORM" for replying to a RFE means.

Any input in this regard will be very helpful.

I just had my interview this morning here in Singapore and my documents were also kept by the consul for review and told me that they will send an email to inform me whether I will get my Visa stamping. According to him they will still have to review the papers. How about your case, have you already gotten your Visa stamped? How long did it take? Appreciate if you could share your experience.

Pending New H1b approval for priority date of June 3rd.

Hi all,
My new H1b visa Priority Date(receipt date) is June 3rd still pending approval. The time frame is way past 150 days. Called up USCIS and they are expecting another month for approval. Should i upgrade for a premium processing.

VISA Stamping

Hi All,

Just want to know if anyone who have their application approved has already gotten their H1B Visa stamped. It seems that there is a new process when it comes to Visa stamping. The consul will get the documents and return the passport to the applicant. They say that they will still have to review the documents. And that it will take another 2 or 3 months before you will be able to know if you will be able to get the Visa stamped on your passport. As per experiences by current H1B holders it only took them 2 days to be able to get the visa stamped and that during the interview you will be able to know if they will actually give you the visa. Appreciate if you could share your experiences for those who have already undergone the interview process. I want to find out if this is also happening in other countries or only here in Singapore.

I am still waiting on a decision after getting the "Received RFE (Oct 11) response email" from USCIS on Oct 25. RFE was for spouse's payslips. Wanted to give hope to others in the same boat.
