Friends mine is normal processing filed on june 08th, got EAC on 14th june and approval on Oct 4th.
 
Does the "Last Updated (mm/dd/yyyy) " details in the portfolio of USCIS website change before getting the approval...????

Anybody has similar experience???....please share.....how much time normally does it takes for approval after this date change.

My case is showing "Last Updated" as 09/27/2005. I am not sure, wht this was earlier. I verified that this is related to the case and not the personalization settings of the protfolio.

What does your case show?

My H1b has been approved on 7th Oct. I have upgrated to premium precessing on October 4 and got approval on Oct 7th.

Its normal processing, i got the receipt on June 23rd,Hope you will also get it in few days, I guess Vermont centre is processing June applications.

Here is the latest update from my side. Request all to input your valuable comments for my queries.


Mine is a fresh h1B and it got approved recently(sep 1st,2005).
Presently my employer is having my h1 approved papers with him.

I am in usa on b1/b2 visa for 3 months.(aug - oct ,2005)

I contacted my employer about changing the status

Can i change the status from b1 to h1 , He said that you have to go to india and get the stamping done there and come back.

I also asked him to mention about my spouse, children in the offer letter so that i can take my spouse, kid to consulate when i will be going for h1 visa interview.

a) Is that offer letter only required to mention about my dependants name (spouse & kid) ., or any other documents are also required to mention the names..please list those documents if any body has gone through the same process what i am currently going thru.

b)I Will be returning to india by october 25th,2005 since my i-94 is expiring on that day. after that i need to apply for h1b visa appoint along for my spouse , kid.

My spouse is having her passport but my name ,kid's nameis not yet included in that. since she has applied before marriage.

1)Is it compulsory that my name, kids name shld be present in her pp

and then in that case my passport shld als be updated to have my spouse name & my kid's name.

2) Is it compulsory that my kid should have a passport.since he is 9months old. because i will be taking both for h4 interview at consulate.

if so , i need to apply for a passport first ,get that pp and

then only i can book the appointment for 3 members.(one for my h1b, h4 for my spouse & kid).

please correct me if i am wrong in the above stuff.

3) one important thing to know is

1) what are all the documents needed for h1b visa before going to the chennai consulate for an interview.

2) what are all the documents required for h4 visa for my spouse & kid before going to chennai cosulate for an interview.,

I am planning to book an appoint in feb,2005 for h1 & h4 ,

on the same day since i can take my spouse & kid along with me to the consulate for the interview.

4)One more query is .. Coming to web appointment

1)I need to fill h1b appointment thru online and
there it asks for number of applicants..(i can mention 3 ... myself,spouse & kid).

now question is - i will fill my details for h1 ,

where should i fill my spouse details for h4 visa and the same for my kid ?

Thank God, days of waiting ended .

My application recieved Vermont Service Center on June 21st approved on Oct 7th.

Normal processing under general quota.

H1B visa status

Hello,
I have applied for the H1B at VSC.
Receipt date is 2nd June.
But I have not yet received any update about it.
can anyone tell me what is going on.

Approval notice sent out on 9th October.
