I seem to be the topper. :cool: Are there nobody whose petition (regular) date is earlier than Apr 12th , and have not received an approval?
It's been 160 days in my case.

Mine is a regular/new h1b petition filed on Aug 9th under normal processing at VSC. I haven't got any receipt so far, so don't have any EAC number. Would u please tell me what has gone wrong? I would appreciate any help in this matter.

Please check with your lawyer or the employer. I filed under normal processing masters' quota on Aug 10th and got the receipt number on Aug 19th

is it I129 or I130

when i tried to check my status, it is asking whether i filed for I129 or I130.Its a regular H1 processing.Im in india.
Mine is filed on june 22nd
 
My application was received on June23rd.
I129 hasnt been approved.
Immigrationwatch.com says 66.3% applications filed around this date are approved.Mine will be approved before 08/08/05.Today is 09/23/05

Something is really wrong with the Vermont center. The processing date is stuck on 30th April. My receipt date is 3rd May. I'm really getting impatient now. Vermont center is too too slow man.
 
Apply for F-1 when H1B pending

Hi all,
I want to know if one can apply for F-1 when H1B is pending. I have an admission in a university in New Jersey for the Spring 2006 semester.

Right now my H1B is pending at VSC. My OPT got over on Sept 14,2005.

Can you please tell me if I/when I can apply for F-1 visa while my H1B is pending? I want to maintain my status in USA in case my H1B is rejected.

i check in the immigration watch website:

and it seems that there are many premium processing in vermont thats why normal processing was too slow...

i think after the premium processing....then normal processing will then follow.

for this year in vermont sc:
year total approved cases
2005 98553 73798(74.8%)

seems that of all the sc....vermont has the lowest percentage interms of the approved cases.

will see next month...hope they can work more...

California centre is now processing applications with receipt notice date of
JULY 17 , 2005
Texas is now processing applications with receipt notice date of
JULY 15 , 2005
Nebraska centre is now processing applications with receipt notice date of
June 27 , 2005


Then why VERMONT centre is still processing applications with receipt date of April 30, 2005
 
For one case, it took 79 days, its filed as premium processing, They filed it on june 23rd , approved on 09/09/05.
its supposed to get apporval in 15 days

Hi...did the applicant filed as premium from the start (june 23)? Usually the counting of 15 days starts from the date the applicant requested his application be processed as premium. If the applicant has filed his application under premium processing on June 23rd then it is really a long period of time....better wait for regular proceesing. :)
