Looks like I will have to go through premium processing to get the visa approval. VSC has been hanging around with April petitions for almost 3 months now.

your receipt date is april 12 and it says april 30 on processing. did your laywer follow up your application. its been 5 months already.
did you received an rfe?

If we have filed a case 30 days or more before the date shown under the heading "processing cases with receipt date of' and if we have not received a RFE/approval in last 30 days, then we have to contact NCS at 1-800-375-5283.
In my case, the petition application date is Apr 12th ,already passed 150 days.But, I am eligible make a hue-n-cry only if the Vermont processing date passes May 12. It is still processing Apr 30 now. There seems to be no clue on when it would move further.

I got my approval today Sept 21st...My petition is receipt date April 27th, regular,normal processing at VSC.good luck to all

recieved date is different from notice date. I have the softcopy of the reciept itself. It will be having two columns, reciept date and notice date. My reciept date is: May, 26th and notice date is: May, 27th.

I dont know about your case, why it is not approved, but mine is approved and got the mail as well.

Hello, have a question i have the same thing online but when a recived the things in mail there was strang letter stating that my change of status was not approved but on the offical I797 it statas that ir was. my case was approved on sept 13 .

What is RFE?

Hi all,
I wanted to know one thing, what is this RFE? My employer gave me this EAC051375**** which says that my petition was filled on 15th April. But I got this in May only. I think this is not RFE. I want to know when a person under normal processing get RFE .
Pls let me know.

What is an RFE?

RFE stands for Request For Evidence. USCIS uses RFEs to request more information if something is not clear in a case that you have filed, if there is a document missing or they need updated information.

Does an RFE mean that USCIS is about to deny my case?

Normally not, but it can indicate that they aren't sure about the case.

If they already pretty much decided, they will send you an NID (Notice of Intent to Deny) instead of an RFE. This is basically a last-chance opportunity to fix your case and convince them that they should not deny it.

How much time do I have to respond to an RFE?

Usually 90 days. The RFE should tell you how long you have.
 
One of my friend got approval on 19th. His case was filled on May 19th. Seems Vermont has started processing cases of May. Moreover prediction from immigrationwatch.com is correct in his case. They predicted it to be 22nd Sep where as he got the approval on 19th Sep.
