Yes. You need to file your spouse's I-485 seperately.

the meaning of I-131 online status

Hello,

I found my I-131 status has changed to the following:

On November 28, 2003, the document we made based on the approval or registration of this case was mailed directly to the person to whom issued.

Does it mean the I-131 has been approved? How long will it take in the shipping roughly?

Yes your case is approved. It takes between 3-14 days.

EAD approved..updated spreadsheet

hi,

I just the status of my EAD and it says it was approved on Nov28th 2003 and that they have ordered a new card..But however for my wife's EAD ..its the same status still.........

does the EAD's get approved at the same time?? or there is a lag for the wife's EAD approval?.. just to want to make sure there is no problem here as she has not got approval..cause i was reading somewhere in the thread here that they are waiting for 140 to be approved to issue EAD to spouse...any thoughts..

so USCIS are finally in October for EAD.

ur wife shoudl get an approval in day ot two. usually urs is approved first as u r a beneficiary. once urs is approved, ur wife's would follow. u don't have to wait for I-140 approval to get ur wife's EAD.

Receipt Date

Hi
My papers for 140/485 were sent on Nov 24th. Can you tell me how many days its taking to get the receipt Date from the service Center.

yup..thank you all...infact my wife's EAD was approved dec1st 2003....

and hey av35...you should be getting your recipt date/notice shortly... i got mine in 10 days...usually arround 2 weeks i guess..hang on...
 
MD, RD or ND

Which Date is the Important Date MD, RD or ND.
What is the difference between the three?
From the expiration of 90 days from which Date, can we file EAD?

The Notice DAte ND is all that matters....dont worry about the other dates...Recipt date is the date BCIS received your application..

As for EAD you dont have to wait for 90 days to apply!! You can apply for EAD concurrently with 140 and 485 (assuming you are doing all together)

I posted 140/485/765 on Nov19 by Overnight(Fedex) and it reached them on Nov 20. I know it from Fedex Tracking System

So, can I take that MD is Nov 19 and RD is Nov 20? Or the INS has to certify those dates?

So, If I dont get EAD by Feb 22, Can I go to the district office and get it?

My Lawyer hasnt got ND yet from INS.

yes your mailing date is Nov 19 and RD is Nov 20....

You will get your receipt Notice shortly..can take 2-3 weeks ....nothing is streamlined with BCIS! Mine took arround 10 days... you can get interimEAD if you dont get it in 90 days...

When Will I get the EAC numbers for 140/485/765 after applying for it

Will VSC send it to my lawyer along with the MD, RD, ND etc?

you will get EAC number when u get the reciept. EAC number will be on top for each application filed.

When you sent your EAD papers did you also send your Drivers LS also as an extra form of Photo ID .

I hear that there are lost of RFE for additional form of photo ID's especially for EAD's .
