I used to work for them, they are very good with immigration matters, I cleared my labor and I140 within 11 months period in 2000, I left them for a big five and now stuck with my labor in NY. Also check with then if they have any existing labor or I140 that they can use it for you.
 
NY Regional, AVM number works...

I just called the AVM number for NY regional, with some case number(increment of 10) in handy.
Following is the result. But none of them is for system analyst, I guess.

Need some information,Once the attorney replied for NOF to NY DOL,Did attorney or company will get any notification that they recived reply for NOF??
How can I make sure that NY DOL recived the response...........

I found one today which is approved on Sep 8th.

Guys,

Here is updated from NY DOL.

As of today Sept 10 2004, NY DOL is processing cases received on 6th May 2004.

Near about 13 cases were processed today (i.e. Sep 10 2004 @ 4.00 PM EST)

Labor - Appeal

As I posted earlier my case was moved to NY DOL on 1/27/04 and after that there was a NOF issued on 3/27/04. The NOF was regarding my salary and employer's ability to pay. Neither the employer nor the attorney replied the NOF. I was not aware of any NOF untill I called DOL on 5/23/04. The last date for reply was on 4/28/04. I told the attorney and employer about this NOF and they wake up and send the reply. The reply was rejected by the certifying officer saying it too late. Then the attorney did an appeal.

Today I called AVM and found out the status on my case is updated on 9/10/04. The status is "an appeal has been received to reconsider this case". I want to know how many days it will take for DOL to give a final decision. Is there any hope of my labor getting cleared?

I am already discussing with one company to transfer my H1b and it is in advance state. Should I wait for the result to come or join this new company? Please advise.

NY DOL status enquiry question

Hi All,

My employer filed LC in AUG2002. I am about to expire H1 6years soon. When I have applied for 7th year extension, I got RFE from BCIS for filing proof. The attorney faxed the same to NY DOL requesting the proof. No reply for the past three weeks.

Can anybody offer some advise/experiences in this regard

b. What happens if They come back and say we don't have your application.All we have is a postal proof of sending from attorney.

I think you have to check with your attorney or you can call NY Regional DOL
Details are given below:

NY DOL Number : (212) 337 2184
Days : Mon/Wed/Fri
Time : 9.00 AM to 12.00 PM

p.s. You will need a case number and Employer Name to find a case status

Not sure but I noticed that NY DOL is not updating AVM.
I hope everything will be fine with you. Keep your fingers crossed.

DOL can issue NOF for different reasons, i also received NOF from NY DOL and that one is related Salary

Sorry to hear that. But I don't think there will be any problem with your NOF.
Most of these NOF queries are related to salary.

Could you please share information about your labor case?

1. Do you work for american company or Desi company?
2. Date of case received by NY DOL
3. NOF issue date ?
