What do you mean by "taking the months of may and june off"?

Checked it on 07/24/2004, found that
case #02506171 certufued
case #02506172 No update

This Monday, found that the certified cases moved to #02506198

Today, #02506199 received 4/21 still no update
 
JULY 29th Update

case number 02506414 DOT COde 030.162-014
received on 4/22
is certified on JULY 29th

But no update on the new cases moved to regional after July 23rd..

The last case number found 02509340 of July 23rd..

Are NY/NJ states not sending any cases to Regional..
Am I missing any thing here :confused:

I think the NY & NJ states send the cases once a week in batches, so my guess is that once they've finished processing 4/21-22 we'll see them move to 4/28

It looks like they didn't process any new cases for those 2 months, I heard stories that they had a computer crash

No That's not correct .. see the tracker attached., I used to get new cases received update evry day ...

NY DOL Updated for JULY 30th.,
around 100 cases are transferred to NY DOL from states from JULY 23rd
cases reached to NYDOL by july 30 - 02509450


April 23rd IT cases not yet touched
 
my case was moved from state to Regional on April 22nd 04. but they didnt entered in AVM system till now. anyone have any idea how to proceed here ?

What is the proof that your case is moved to NY REGIONAL DOL on APRIL 22nd., have you received any card from State., general understanding is that NY REGIONAL DOL AVM will be updated after a couple of weeks once NY REGIONAL DOL recived case from state., but you are saying APRIL 22nd .. more than a month and right now NY REGIONAL DOL is processing cases around this date..

You have to call NY Regional DOL office to findout your case number.

Working Days : Mon/Wed/Fri
Working Hours : 9.00 AM to 12.00 PM

You have to provide your First Name, Last Name, Employer and employer contact no.

and let us know what is the response
 
Aug. 05 Update for DOT Code 030.162-014

Case# 02506611 received on 04/27 was certified on Aug.02

Also found that case# 02506745 also received on 04/27 had no update.
 
Another case # 02-506-749 received on 04/27 with DOT Code#030-162-014 was certified

NY DOL Update AUG -11

On Aug 9 th and 10 th around 200 cases received by NY DOL regional..

Please check the probable dates and case numbers .. post/update IT related Cases in the tracker so that we can track those cases..
 
labor taking forever

I am tracking my husband's GC. He is too busy to do that. And I am more eagerly waiting for it than him.
I was working before marriage but now I am on H4 and would like to get back to working again.

Lawyer got the postcard saying that NJ state approved it on April 7th.
I checked NY Regional ph and after March the next case for his company was transfered on April 27th. so I am hoping that that was his case. But that case number was approved on aug 5th. And lawyer hasnt notified about any postcards received from NY regional.
How long it takes for NY regional to inform lawyer of the case approval?
Do they send fax , email or post card?
 
labor moved to NY DOL on 7th July

Folks, Attorney sent me email syaing that my case has moved from NJ SESA to NY DOL on 7th July. But when i called NY DOL with my employer phone number, AVM says that last cases recieved from this employer phone number was on Dec 2003.
When attorney says that case moved to NY DOL on 7th july, what does it mean ? NY DOL got the case on 7th July ? or NJ SESA has send the case on 7th July ? If yes then how long it takes from NJ SESA to entering in the NY DOL system?

That date is as per NJ SESA sending to NY regional DOL,
but the actual case send might be atleast 2 weeks(safe estimate) from that date and NY DOL Update will be another 3 to 4 weeks ..NY DOL update AVM with received cases as batches... so your case might appear in the NY DOL AVM by the 3 rd week of this month ...
 
Time For getting approval notice?

Does any one knows generally by how many days lawyer will receive approval notice regarding case approval once NY DOL AVM is updated with case approval ?

the lawyer got back and the labor has been approved :)
i was correct, that case# was my husband's case#.

Lawyer said he will be taking 3 weeks to get the I-140 papers ready.
Do all lawyers take that long...?? 3 weeks...wow!
anyway, my husband did ask him to hurry up but he said thats what he will take.
well exactly after 3 weeks he is getting a call if we dont receive the papers by then :D
you have to get the work done i guess.
