LUD Change (07/19/04)

Me & spouse got transferred to local New York office today.

On July 19, 2004, we transferred your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status to our office in NEW YORK, NY for them to schedule and conduct your interview. Scheduling can take several months. Our office in NEW YORK, NY will notify you when they schedule your interview or take other action on your case. If you need further information, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283.

Thanks for your reply.I was just worried about the manual finger printing done by service center for my wife.As you said ; the best option is to wait for some more time and than follow-up.

Sorry to hear about your transfer. Do you suspect anything for a cause to transfer?

And it's very sacry to be transfered to NYC. They are processing May 6th 2002 RD cases. You can getmore information from this NewYork City Transfers forum.

Sanga is right, wait for another week probably. When I did my first FP (3/25/2003) it happened that my spouse's was on Computer and mine was on paper. USCIS received my spouse's FP on 4/1 and mine on 4/7. Hope that helps.

Yes, LUD changed to 07/19/2004, for both me and spouse (even though we gave FP2 two days apart). Status still says the old FP1 message.

3rd EAD approved today

My 3rd EAD was approved today. My LUD on 485 changed from 6/21 to 7/20 without the change in status.

My LUD on 140 changed today

My 140 LUD changed to today from 11/07/2002 when my 140 was approved. This happened after my 3rd EAD was approved yesterday 6/20. The 485 LUD changed from 2002 to 6/21/2004 after my FP2 on 6/12/2004. Again it changed on 7/20. Again it changed on 7/21/2004. As of today my LUD on my 485, 140, 3rd EAD is 7/21/2004. My wifes 485 LUD is still 6/21/2004. I hope to hear some good news by SAIBABA's grace.

We received FP2 today and they are scheduled for 8/12/2004. VSC is playing with our lives. We planned everything for going on vacation from Aug1 to Aug20,04. All of a sudden, I received this..
Is it possible to do EARLY FP2 at NEWARK center.... Please help....
Otherwise, Is it wise to Re-schedule FP2. Is there any risk involved in it...
Please advise..

I don't think there is any risk by rescheduling the FP, but for the fact you are giving another reason to CIS to delay your approval. You never know, when CIS will reschedule your FP2. Lots of people waiting for FP2, even apr/may'02 folks.

IMHO, you should try all means to give the FPs before leaving on vacation. You don't have to give it NEWARK ASC only. After trying newark, you can try other ASCs in your area.

My spouse gave early FP2 in Bronx, NY. No questions asked. Myself did in another location.

After trying it all, you may request for a reschedule.

Thank you Sanga for the information. Other than Newark, when i searched in USCIS website, I got the following another location:
HACKENSACK ASC
116 Kansas St.
Main Floor
Hackensack, NJ 07601

Do you know any other ASC in NJ.
I really appreciate your promp response to this.

Sanga is right. Try doing an early FP. Our FP2 was scheduled for 8/14. We tried for an early FP in Hackensack & Newark, but were refused. Yesterday again we tried Newark, and were successful. I would suggest that you go to Newark on a wednesday or thursday between 2pm to 3pm.

Do try it. We were asked if there is any reason for early FP. We truthfully said there was none. You on the other hand do have a valid reason.

Thank you for the information. My wife went today morning and they refuesed to take it despite showing the Airline tickets. So I asked my wife to go again around 2Pm today. If not today, I will try my luck at Hackensack on saturday.... I am getting so nervous.... about this...

Anyways, keep trying at different locations in case you have time for that. I think they should accept you for FP looking at your tickets. And try to go afternoon time when there should be less crowd.

LUD changed twice on 7/15, /7/16

Your FP1 date and our FP1 date are exactly the same.. I got RFE for EVL and was submitted to USCIS on July 14, 2004.
Since our FP1 also expired, we are waiting for FP2 notification.. As our FP1 dates are the same, please let me know whenever you get FP2.. I will also do the same.

I am eagerly waiting for it..
