My lud changed on 7/8/2004 and I received Fp2 yesterday(7/22)

LUD change may not always result in FP2, at least not all the time.
Just because you asked, my LUD is 6/8/04, FP2 notice is issued on 6/28/04 and we received it on 7/2/04 with a scheduled date of 8/15/04.
Hope that gives an idea.

Update regarding FP2:
My wife just tried to do early FP2 (around 2pm). But the officer told that it is better to reschedule. He told us that even if he allows, when they check in the computer, it will not be processed..-- I dont know whether it is right or wrong...
But anyway, No luck at Newark early FP2. Now i am in a dilemma...

My LUD changed from xx/xx/2002 to 06/21/2004 and a month later(on 07/20/2004) my case got approved.
No dilemma, Kandy17.
Try whatever you can do for an early FP2, else you have option of rescheduling it. Don't stressout too much on it. You got to do what you got to do.
Regarding the computer rejecting...........nonsense. There are no such data validation done on ASC's FP database. He was just bluffing you. We gave early FP2 even without original receipts, only using faxed copies.
When you are there don't specifically mention that you are there for early FP2.

I am thinking of other alternative:
1) we will try this saturday and let's see what happens( will try at Newark and Hackensack)
2) Planning to re-schedule only wife's FP, I am planning to do FP at the specified time.
will atleast my case gets processed or will wait for my wife's FP...
can you please shred light on this!

My 2nd EAD's LUD was changed on I765 along with I485. EAD's LUD then changed on 7/19/20/21 and said my EAD card was mailed. My status for I485 was not changed(Same old message that my FP were received on May 27th 2003.....etc). My LUD was on I485 was STATIC since 5/27/2003 and just changed when they approved my 2nd EAD on 7/16/2004.
Did anybody observed the same thing? Does it mean that they may approve my I485 soon as they've just updated the LUD? Or is it just me who's just falsly excited and hoping for impossible. My details: EB2/VSC/

I had posted on a seperate thread but this is where it belongs. I read all the emails but there is no definate theory. I'll just pray for all of us!!!!!

You have every reason to be excited as you have a valid FP1 and VSC is looking at your application. Provided name check (and other CIS darkroom stuff) is cleared, you may see an approval notice soon.

my LUD changed twice and it coincided with my EAD getting approved. but our FP1 had expired around the same date so we got our FP2 notices. dont know whether urs is the same case, hoping that u r getting an approval soon...good luck....
