Did you get your FP1 at all ? If its FP2, I wouldn't worry, just because there are lots of folks around and much before those dates who did not hear about FP2s yet.

Till now, I haven't got any Finger Printing Notice.
Is there a way that I can do my Finger Printing without notice from CIS at Local New Jersey CIS office ?

You can do it yourself, its very small range. I'll try to do it over the weekend.

how to check LUD

Hi,
I am trying to see LUD for my case but i guess i am missing something here.whenver i check my case online the date at the bottom always reflects the current date and time. is that the LUD. if not please let me know how to find the LUD

Hello, Sanga, When you got second FP notice, Did online message of USCIS also change to notify you the FP notice was sent out? i am just thing if the FP notice is lost by post office how can we know USCIS sent us notice or not. thank your reply.

I haven't got FP1 yet. My wife got her FP1 Notice in Feb 03 and she did her FP in March 03 and Now recently last month, her LUD got changed twice and I am afraid that since CIS doesn't have my Finger Printing, they will keep my wife case aside as I am primary applicant.

Most people who applied their I485 during my timeframe are now waiting for FP2 or they are getting RFE's or approvals and I haven't even got First FP Notice Yet ?

Nope. Online is not updated with FP sent message. It is the case with everyone(atleast to most), I guess. For most (not to all) online status will be updated once CIS receives the FP results.

Your lawyer also gets a copy of FP2 notices. So you should be in touch with lawyer. For one of my friends, lawyer messed up and informed him well after the scheduled date. However he was able to use the expired notice and did the FP w/o any problem.

Our LUD has changed from March14,2003 to 07/08/2004. I dont think this concludes anything.....

I am guessing, Recently, I Contaced our Senator and I got reply saying that currently VSC is processing APril02 cases and it will take another one year.....

All we can do is share experiences and be patient.....

Yes...... My spouse gave FP2 succesfully at one of the NY location today(7/10/04), after I tried succesfully earlier on 7/8/04.

Succesfully gave FP2 today(7/8/04) at another California location (different from scheduled one). Spouse will try another location in NY this weekend, before coming to the friendly ASC in California.

Ours are scheduled for 8/14/04. Attempted for an early FP at different location with a Fax copy of FP2 notice (was away from my location for July 4th weekend), could not succeed.

Is it really existing anything? Got FP2 after LUD Change on 6/17 for both.

LUD got changed on 6/17 and I ws wondering what's happening at USCIS. But on sat'day I got FP2 notice scheduled on 7/19. I have 2 important things to clarify:

1) Is there any hope that after FP2 any progress on I-485 expected soon? is there any approvals happened recent past after FP2? or Is it just routine? How much
2) Can I go early for FPs? Can they allow there us?

1)Yes there are approvals after FP2. Some people got approval even within a week. All this is provided they get name clearance from CIA etc.. agencies.

2)As you see from my earlier posting (and many others in this forum), its possible to give early FP. Some ASCs accept, some don't. Considering you are scheduled for next week, it doesn't matter much for you.

1) Is there any approvals happened recent past after FP2?
2) Can I go early for FPs? Can they allow there us?

Last updated date and E-mail notification

Our I-485s shows last updated dates changed to 6/8/04 . Don't know if it means anything. Our FP1 expired last week and AP2s are pending with a ND of 5/10/04. AP dates for last update are not changed.

Is there a chance to get approval within a week of FP1 expired, without a FP2?. Please comment.

Hopefully, some thing will come out of this last touch. I am ready to take any thing, FP2 or REF or Approval

I did not get FP2 notice yet. I think people whose LUD changed during that time have started to get FP2 notices. I don't think most of them already got (as you said).
Anyway, I did not get it.

Everyone: Please post all the details like LUD, FP1, FP2 and also the ASC (where FP1/FP2 was/is scheduled). Couple of people living in CA have got FP2 notices.
These details will give others an idea of people of which state/area are receiving FP2 notices.
