My interview was today ( DO office Baltimore ) , and after 45 minutes the office told me that he doesn't have all my document in order to continue the interview , i asked him what kind of document and he said some document.?! he didn't even gave a receipt or any thing and he said just wait till they reschedule your interview .

I am very upset and i need some advice. What should i Do ? Who should i call ?

Please give me some advice.

Thanks

I'm so sorry, I'm not the person to advise you on this but at least you know it was NOT your fault the documents were missing today. Best of luck dealing with this.

Sounds like your A-file didn't arrive in time for the interview. While it's not an everyday occurrence, its been known to happen. Don't worry, they'll reschedule your interview. I suggest making an InfoPass appointment or speaking with a 2nd Level service rep at the customer service center.

Thanks , but do you know who has my missing files , NBS or Nebraska office ( i applies and got my GC from Nebraska ) ?

Also should i just call CS and ask to talk to 2nd level CS rep ?

Thank you

Talk to 2nd level IO. There is no guarantee he know anything.
He may be truly ignorant because he does not know what is going
on at local district office or he does not care and just stonewall with
you.

There is not much you can do. Either you have to trust USCIS
will pull up and rescheudle another interview or you with draw
current application and re-start a new one (it is not kidding)

What about the requirement of adjudication within 120 days of the interview. Would that apply in this case?

Why the hell do i want to re-start a new one ?/ if you can't say anything helpful don't say it .

In some places, citizenship can be done in 3 months from filing, but reschedling evern at these places can take more than 3 months. So
a smooth re-application can be faster and more stable except the only disadvantage is money

Infopass and USCIS customer service line are only two NORMAL
channel we can commmunicate but you can also write letters
to the DOs.

Forget my "re-apply" advice too and I am sorry for that. My
point is that rescheduling can cause irregularity in your
timeline but iiregularity also means it can be very fast.

But shouldn't he pay the fee again for re-applying, Which i think is a waste of money. I think you should make an infopass and also call USCIS and speak to a level 2 IO.

My vote goes for waiting for a few weeks without doing anything. If you don't get a new interview notice in the next month or month and a half schedule an Infopass and see if they can tell you the real reason for the delay. I wouldn't go for the expense of reapplying.

Does delay applies for reschualing interview due to no show?

Will delay be long if you miss your interview and wait for new interview considering that fingerprint has expired?

Someone get rescheduling notification very quick and someone get rescheduling notification very slow. I assume that since everyone is put into the queue after FP, you should have a reschduling timeline as if you just finished your FP today or this week. Since USCIS
already schedule up to the next 2 months, they can not let rescheduled applicants cut in line because that means they have to take out someone else.

There is an urban legend about how bad rescheduling is like USCIS forget to reschedule by putting your application don't know where. That is just an urban legend but I guess it start with some reason. My guess is that since only a few people need rescheduling so that USCIS
may put these aplication aside and only put them back into the queue when there are
many enough but that is just my guess.

On the yellow letter, the USCIS warn that any rescheduling can cause significant
delay even though that is for those who want to reschedule but I think the situation
is the same for all rescheduling no matter who cause it.

But don't worry. Just wait. it can take some time to get rescheduling notice
but it is also likely you get it very soon.

What you need to do now is to make sure USCIS is rescheduling your interview,
call USCIS 1-800 number and put down a service request for rescheduling.

make an infopass if you havent heard anything in 2 wks..and go into your local DO. Why should OP pay $675 again to reapply? they should have descheduled the interview..
OP -this is frustrating and shows lack of planning on the IO Part. Wish oyu best of luck though

Sorry. My "reapply" advice is sarcastic way to say rescheduling can sometimes be a pain in the butt. Rescheduling timeline can be very unpredictable and waiting for rescheduling
is more much frustrating than waiting for the original interview.
