I was informed by my attorney that my I -140 appl was mailed to NSC on 5/19/2006.

If possible please add me to the tracker with the below information.

Can some one update me on different buzz words and meanings..

I have just recieved SRC# what does this implies? what is I-140 FD/RD/LUD/AD ???

Also, online it shows that it is taking 400-450 days to process this type of application??? is that true??

It is just the standard message.

It will take less than 30 days, and your case will be processed in Texas.

Congratulation you will be processed in the fast SC.

You may want to see processing time in the Texas Service center tracker
 
Hmmm..

For me it took around 10 days, after my Lawer sent to the USCIS. I see most of the ppl have cleared their checks with in week or max of 15 days.
Please be sure with your attorney or employer that your case was filed on the date you are thinking. We know the employers, right. They likes to delay as much they can. :rolleyes:

PD = priority date (normally, for EB2/EB3, the date of labor filing)
RD = receipt date (when USCIS received application)
ND = notice date (when USCIS sent notice, after receiving application)
AD = approval date (when application is approved)
RFE = request for evidence (when USCIS sent notice for farther documents)
LUD = last update date (in online status at USCIS website, mostly useless)
AP LUD = advance parole last update date
FP = fingerprint date (when fingerprint was done)
PP stamp = passport stamping date (after approval)

It is very normal message to every applicant from USCIS .
So dont worry about that message, Normally 140 cases will be approved from 30 days to some 2,3 months, If there is no RFE.

Question on RFE

My RFE was received by USCIS on 22nd May 2006. So does the USCIS start processing my case again with the cases of RD - 22nd May or will I get priority since my case was pending from long time. I filed originally on 06-Jan-2006

Hi,

How long does it take to get the approval notice after the email notification of the approval?

My details are as shown below:

LC AD : 02/07/06
State:IL

Applied on April 26th to NSC and moved to TSC

I went through the RFE stage. My case was approved within less than 20 days they received RFE papers...

I would enter your info in tracker after you get your Notice Date. Your notice will tell if your application is in Nebraska or Texas.

Time to receive Approval Notice

Hi,
Does anyone know how long it takes to recieve the approval notice after the email notification? My case was approved on May 16th. I got an email on May 17th but have not got the Approval Notice yet. The last update date is may 19th.

I am waiting too. I got approved on May 15, and last LUD May 18. I am waiting for the approval notice in the mail.

I-140 Receipt Date - Mar 2nd 2006
I-140 RFE Issued - Apr 28th 2006 Asking for Masters Degree and 5 years experience.
Lawyer replied saying that it is applied under EB3 not EB2. USCIS has mistakenly sent this RFE thinking that it is applied under EB2.

I-140 RFE Response - Filed on May 15th
I-140 Approved - On May 23rd - Email Received from USCIS
