I am from IL and posted I140 to Nebraska but it look like it has been sent to Texas. As per "sfmars" comment above "Nebaraska makes decision pseudo-randomly who they are going to process and whom they forward to Texas."

If someone can tell me how long does it take to get an official receipt from NSC to know the LIN number ? My I-140 was filed on April 3rd, if it is too early to ask attorney about receipt number to check status online ?

It should not take more than 10 working days. I believe you attorney should have Receipt now.

My case was filed on 04/03/2006 but starting with LIN.

I-140 approvals

Here is my info, please update to the tracker

EB2 / Labor PD 04/04/2002/ applied for I-140 with labor substition on 04/14/2006 along with H-1B transfer (8th year).

My other employer filed EB3 / Labor PD 03/10/2003 from South Dakota still waiting.
