Eoir 42b visa availability for FY 2019

Hi Nat. I have a question after your husband went to the info pass appointment how long after you guys received the email confirmation?
Where shows the GC. Is been approved.
I went to uscis Tuesday for the infopass appointment.
Wow!
It seems like you didn’t have to wait long for the info pass appointment!
So this is what happened.
My husband waited about 2 weeks for the info pass call.
When he actually got the call, the representative told him that she was going to refer his case to his local USCIS office. She said he was going to receive a call from that office, and that they would tell him if he needed to go in person or not.
Probably 5 days after that phone call, my husband got an email saying that his application to register permanent residence had been approved. The actual letter said that he might be required to report for biometrics but USCIS would send him another letter if that was the case.
A week and a half after receiving that notice, we checked the USCIS case status tool, and it said “my card was mailed to me” (that was yesterday evening).
I’ve noticed they handle cases differently.
I hope this info helps.
And congratulations again! You’re almost done with this frustrating process!

To check your case with the court? If is with the court ,you can check that with the Alien # and through this website.

No I’m talking about what Nat is saying with the USCIS tool. I have the application number when the i485 was filed but that case number starts with SRC and I don’t know if that’s the correct one.

Hi!
Yes it’s the SRC receipt number and you can check the status on the USCIS website.

Mine says somethings were mailed to me back in 2019 i mean i have that receipt and it says that they weren’t going to ask for my biometrics that they were going to use the ones they had.. i tried to change my address from that particular receipt and i got an email saying that they cant update it because its from the court, and the court has my actual address..does anyone here know or has ran into a situation like this?? My attorneys are not being helpful at this point

I remember when the judge verbally approved us, he gave us a blue form to change our address just in case. You can go to the court and ask for that form.

So what I’m trying to say is that the court has my address my current one. But the address that was filed with that document isn’t correct. And the USCIS page says that with every application we have to change our address so thats where I’m kinda lost. Because i tried to change it and it says i have to do it with the court but they already have it!

Try to call USCIS and I know is so difficult to speak to a real person or you can go directly to the USCIS office.

Thank you so much for all the info. Is very helpful and like you said they handle all cases different way. My grant letter say the uscis already checked my fingerprints and maybe thats why they didn't ask me at uscis office not to do it again. It's was just to go and dropped off the paper work and photos. We'll see how it' goes by next week.

Can’t wait for you to tell us that you have your GC in your hands!!!!
Keep us posted please

Please share infopass appointment callback timeline. I am still waiting. 5 business days passed. They asked me to pick a day after 20 days. Anyone experienced this?
Nope I got an email 7 business days later and just when I was reading it they called me to set up the meet
