DV 2025 AOS (Adjustment of Status) Process Only

Hi Mom and Family,

I am DV2025 lottery winner, and I am going the AOS route. I've already had a valid I-693 form completed and sealed by a civil surgeon. However, I’m planning to move between now and the time I filed i-485 (once my priority date becomes current).

My question is: Will the sealed I-693 still be valid if I move to a new address when I submitted it with i-485 (on i-485 will be my new address)? Or would I need to contact my CS, pay him again, and ask him to fill/update the I-693 for me?

It should still be valid.
 
Hello everyone,

I currently have a USCIS account with a pending asylum case. I am able to add the receipt number for my AOS application to this account. It seems that I will not receive automatic emails similar to those for asylum cases or other USCIS applications submitted online. in which they notify me when there has been a change to my account and prompt me to log in for details.

Are there any other trusted third party immigration applications I should follow up on to monitor my progress in detail other than login in to my USCIS or using case status USCIS online

Any other app you use is just going to use your case numbers to get the same info you see on USCIS online. Why give your information to a third party for no extra benefit?
 
Hi guys, I paid $330 on October 7th and today I received an email that the payment was confirmed.

1) Am I right in understanding that this is the 2nd email?
2) Can I now start filling out form 485 with all the necessary documents?
3) Do I need to answer them anything?

Interesting, I just got the same paper I sent to them with "paid" stamp on it, no emails, did you get the envelope back?
I think you can include both confirmations, no response required

No, I literally just got this email a couple of minutes ago and haven't received anything since. I haven't received anything via regular mail either (should I receive anything via regular mail?)

Did you include self addressed stamped envelope along with your money order? Looks like their confirmation may vary

Have you gone through the AOS Process Spreadsheet? If you haven’t, or you did before, I recommend you go through it (again). You may want to start with the FAQ tab/sheet, before reviewing the various other tabs on the spreadsheet.

That’s normally the suggestion when people are asking questions that are answered in the spreadsheet

Because the answers to almost all the questions you've asked today can actually be found in the FAQ tab of the referenced spreadsheet.
 
In the Ds260, where it asks for last 5 years of travels to the US, do I ignore the current stay as there is no departure, or do I put the current arrival and put duration til today?

You have to add the current stay. Departure date can be the date of the day in which you’ll be submitting the form. So if you’re submitting the DS260 form today, then use today’s date as departure date.
