DV 2024 AOS (Adjustment of Status) Process Only

I forgot to add, I have an attorney so he did submit SASE and also I submitted the payment to the Department of state at Missouri. I don’t know the DOS at Missouri can be contacted. I recently received my adjustment letter from KCC telling me to go ahead and pay the $330(which I paid in December 2023). Im also curios to know if others received their receipts through email instead of mail.
I got my through email. It has a “paid” stamp on it.

I never said anything about contacting the DOS at Missouri, so I don’t know how why you’re talking about not knowing the DOS at Missouri can be contacted.

Receiving the receipt via email is not a standard practice. However, it is possible for the KCC to email the receipt if the SASE was not included with the payment, or if the receipt is deemed lost in the mail.

okay, mine has been 1month 2 weeks with no receipt only 2NL. I dnt know if I have to pay again or just wait another month
I already recommended contacting your bank to verify if the cashier’s check already got processed. If they tell you the check has been cashed and when it got cashed, that is information you’ll need to use in contacting KCC, and depending on when it was cashed, they may be open to emailing a copy of the receipt.

I received my DV fee payment receipt by mail. They returned the exact same paper that I had sent, with the paid stamp on it. The 2NL came through email a little later, stating that I need to pay the DV fee if USCIS determines I'm eligible to adjust status. Clearly, they received the fee so I don't know if they just forgot to update the letter.

Hello, I'm seeking clarification regarding the payment of my Diversity Visa (DV) fee for Adjustment of Status (AOS). Should I create two envelopes, with the recipient's address on the outer one, and include the empty Self-Addressed Stamped Envelope (SASE), money order, and fee payment form inside? How can I track the SASE when it is returned? Additionally, do I need to put my current address or the address when i applied for DV in the payment form?

In the AOS Excel Sheet, under AOS Process tab, bullet 8 (as shown below), there is excellent description on things needed. I had included normal paid (it was not tracked) USPS mail envelope for SASE.
I had put the SASE (with my current mailing address on it) along with the DV Fee form and money order.1706491537325.png

1. Yes.
2. Ability to track the SASE depends on the type of return service you’ve initiated for the SASE. Obviously if you use a forever stamp on the SASE, you will not be able to track that. If you use/initiate priority mailing service with USPS, or courier service for the SASE, you’ll be able to track it.
3. Use whichever address you wish for the payment receipt to get sent to.

Is there a government released data showing progress for AOS application? I think Xarthisius excellent website is focused mostly for CP applications.

As far as I know, there is no offical info about AOS applications. DV based AOS is a step child of DOS's CP based DV.--so I read somewhere....

Hello mom, I have a naive question.

1.I was wondering if the bar codes on the i485 forms have any special info attached to them?
2. I realise I used page 20 from a form i485, and downloaded another i485 form (same version) to reuse page 20 for additional information. I wonder if all the pages should be from the same form?

There’s no problem with what you did, so don’t allow yourself to get stressed over bar codes not matching.
