DV 2024 AOS (Adjustment of Status) Process Only

okay, mine has been 1month 2 weeks with no receipt only 2NL. I dnt know if I have to pay again or just wait another month
Do you have a tracking number? As I mentioned on this forum, it took 2 weeks for me to get the receipt after the DOS posted it back. I still have not received my receipt notice. USPS is known to create wonders!

I dnt understand what you said. Did you get the receipt from DOS or its not out yet

I got my payment receipt from the DOS. However it took a month after I sent the payment. Mainly due to the fact that USPS mail is slow. I made a mistake by not sending a priority mail and first class mail takes forever. (I can safely say that 5 days estimate by USPS is incorrect.) However I have not got my receipt notice from USCIS after filing my I-485 even though USCIS claims that it did so. It got probably lost in mail.

Quick question that I feel might as well be asked;
I sent two applications (myself the DV winner, and husband). I did receive a separate tracking number for each case, but today received a letter scheduling biometrics only for myself.
It's safe to assume that we are still awaiting either an appointment letter for my husband, or notice that his has been waived?

Many thanks

Hi Mom,

I have a quick question.

1. When should I put the employment end date for my former school? My former university transferred my I20 on 05/25/2020, but my employment end date shows up as 06/12/2020.

2. Is this going to be an issue in the i485?

Thank you!

Your spouse should be receiving a separate bio notice or waiver (if applicable). You can contact Emma to find out if your spouse's bio notice also already got sent.

I'm sorry I'm unable to assist you on this, this is something you'll need to figure out on your own.

Thanks very much for clarifying. I’ve been struggling with Emma being down a lot this week but will keep trying!

Thanks Mom. I tried to understand the FAQ's, but didn't get a clear answer.
1)Would this fee increment apply to all with CN going current as of April month?
2) Early fillers are also part of it right?

Hello, I have a question about the public charge on I-485. To address the inadmissibilty (public charge) case, I'm considering submitting documents. Will my bank statement suffice? I'm on OPT, starting February 2024, without a job yet (within my 90-day grace period). Can I use my bank statement and past W2 from my CPT as proof of financial stability when filing my documents soon?

The fee change applies to all applications filed on or after April 1st, regardless of when the CN became/becomes current.

The "AOS Package" tab of the AOS Process Spreadsheet has recommended list of financial documents that can be used in demonstrating financial stability/support. Please take a look at it.

Hey mom.

Question: In the AOS timeline spreadsheet the Lockbox Delivery Date stands for when the USCIS opened your package and notified you about it, or it stands for when it was delivered to the P.O box?

Also how much time usually it takes between your package getting delivered and USCIS processing the I-485 form?

Thank you

1. It stands for when the package was delivered.
2. Explain precisely what you mean by "processing the I-485 form"

I took a look at the AOS package for the financial documents to support the public charge. My other question is, Do u need just one of these listed documents or all of them? I do have the bank statement and previous employment letters. Will these 2 just be fine or I need to have the others as well. Thank you
