DV 2023 AOS (Adjustment of Status) Only

There is another one in part 3 for sponsor. View attachment 4205
Yes I’m aware there’s an additional section about the sponsor. My previous response re “this section is about your personal income only” was related to question 13 which is what you asked about (with the snippet) in your corresponding previous post. The snippet as a matter of fact says “Beneficiary’s Financial Information” at the top as a matter of fact.

p.s. your sponsor, and not you yourself is actually supposed to be filling out the form. So when filling out the form, see it from the P.O.V of the sponsor and the questions will make sense.

In Part 3 of i485 "Employment History", If I have held many positions under same employer should I mention same employer in employer 1 and employer 2 and change occupations (there are details to be written for 2 employers), OR put employer name and most recent occupation with that employer and at last in additional information, I should say mention the employer's name and state that I have worked in these positions/occupation title with the same above mentioned employer?

Hi @Sm1smom , I've already asked about my case before (it's in the timeline spreadsheet), I've done my biometry on May 9th and haven't heard back ever since and no status change. I've tried contacting USCIS after that, the information I was able to get from them is that the case was reviewed by an officer on June 6th (they said the officer didn't leave any notes) and then I've asked them what the processing times are for my case and they've told me my case is outside of normal processing time and they've submitted a request for information to the field office, but it's going to take up to 30 days for them to respond.

I know you've said before that some field offices prefer to schedule interviews later in the year and mine might be one of those, but I see that some people in my office got interviews earlier last year (like in a month or less after bio) and I am starting to get worried since the time is getting tight. Do you think it's a good idea to submit a request for congressional inquiry now?

Use your own discretion please.

I do recall stating in my previous response you could initiate a congressional inquiry now if you prefer.

Hi Mom,

It's been a month since the USCIS sent me the response that my fingerprint payments were accepted and that they could notify me if fingerprints are required or not, but so far I haven't received any further feedback. what do i do in this case?

Looking at the timeline, everyone your CN made current in the month of May has already been fingerprinted.
Hello Sm1smom, can you please tell me something about this issue?

Hello Sm1smom, can you please tell me something about this issue?
Okay, help me understand precisely what you’ve received to date since sending in your AOS package.
1. Did you receive a NOA (by mail) stating your I-485 package has been received?
2. Did you subsequently receive another NOA (by mail) stating your fingerprint payments were accepted and that they could notify me if fingerprints are required or not?
3. Can you copy and paste the entire content of the response you’re referencing above (without your personal details) for review here?

Good morning,

I was scheduled for an interview for June 29 but my husband was not.

1) Never heard of any case like that. I wonder if he will be called for a separate interview and if there is a chance they would need me again? Or they might not need an interview with him and can approve without him?
2) I have to fly abroad right after the interview with an AP document. Will it not interfere with the process?

P.S. I will put my timelines as soon as I put together all my NOAs together for the interview. This whole AOS process has been hectic for me and I did not have time, sorry.

1. This is not strange, nor new. It is not unusual for the IL to get sent to one person only. Your husband should plan on attending your interview together with you.
2. It shouldn’t interfere with the approval process unless you’re required (for some reason) to reappear for a follow-up interview (this does not happen often though). And if your case is approved while you’re still away, the AP automatically becomes void upon GC approval, so you will need your GC to return.

p.s. while we understand the whole AOS has been hectic for you, it more or less has been the same for almost all the other applicants. Making a little bit extra effort to contribute for others to equally benefit from is always appreciated, plus there are sections of the Timeline Spreadsheet that can be completed without waiting until you’re able to put your NOAs together.

On 11/03/2023 I submitted the I-485 and on 03/16/2023 I received rejection for attaching in advance. I waited until my CN became current in the month of May.

I submitted my I-485 on 5/4/2023, and on 5/17/2023 I received a NOA (in the mail) that their fingerprint payments were accepted and could they let me know if fingerprints are required or not.

Since then I don't have any more feedback, I took a look at the timeline, everyone who filed their processes in the month of May has already done biometry or even has an interview date.

What do I do, I'm starting to get worried.

Remembering that on 13/10/2022 I did biometrics through another I-539 process

I still do not understand what was it you received, I cannot help you if you cannot answer the actual questions I asked. Please respond to the questions as listed in order to receive further guidance. I numbered my questions to make it easier for you to respond with the specific answer to each one.

1. I have not received a NOA (in the mail) that my I-485 package has been received
2. Did I receive a NOA (by mail) that my fingerprint payments were accepted and would they be able to notify me if fingerprints are required or not.

This is the information I have so far.

Can you email what you receive so far to me for review, seeing as you have not pasted it as suggested? I'm still having a hard time understanding what you received. Check you in-box for my email address.

Please me, can you see your email, I already sent it.

Thanks
So contrary to your previous response about not receiving the NOA (in the mail) that your I-485 package has been received, you did receive the NOA - the first part of the mail you’ve been quoting actually says your I-485 has been received and is being processed. The responses to my numbered questions should have been Yes to question 1, and No to question 2. Every accepted case receives the NOA I was asking about in question 1.

It is possible your previously submitted bio back in Oct, 2022 is being used for this application, hence no new bio appointment notification has been sent. However if that were to be the case, they tend to send another mail informing you of that. It is possible they sent it already and it got lost in the mail or was not delivered by USPS for some reason. You need to contact the customer service agents, either by phone or through chat with Emma and request to know if your bio appointment already got scheduled or the notification mailed out to you.

I sent my package in 26th May and still I did not received NOA or any other mail from USCIS, Is it normal?
1. When did the package get delivered (not when it was sent)?
2. Have you checked to confirm if your payment has been cashed or not?

I don't think they sent anything for me because I check it every day using my receipt number and there is no change so far. Tomorrow I will consult with customer service agents. thank you very much.
