DV 2023 AOS (Adjustment of Status) Only

The form is optional - I suppose another confirmation your plan to use the services of a lawyer (because you're scared of mistakes) may not be the right one after all, I suppose?

The office has asked me to provide details explaining the problem and the resolution/outcome that i am seeking. As you advised above i will not be using a term “expedite” rather I will request congressman office to obtain a case status.

Do you advise anything else i should include in the email beside case status that will help my case move forward ?

All you can do is explain to them you have a pending DV based AOS application - explain when you filed, how long you've been waiting for an update and that DV based applications are time limited (and your concern about your case not being adjudicated before the FY ends). Let them know you need their assistance with obtaining a status update about your case. There's no guarantee anything can help move your case forward, considering yours is not the only case pending with your FO and we've already explained over and over your FO has a tendency of batching DV cases together for processing towards the end of the FY.
 
Hi everyone! Please if you can answer those questions:
1. On I-485 and my previous employees section: The company I worked for change its name and address. Should I put old data or new one?
2.Do I need to do one space in Filling in boxes in I-485 and I-134 or it will be considered as a mistake? I realized the brackets might blend a bit with first letters with brackets
3. How many dependents me and my sponsor should put on form if we are both single without kids? 1 or 0? (My sponsor do not live with me)
4. How to do money order with $1250? Two money orders then 1000 and 250?
5. Does the sponsor have to show last 3 or one year of W2?
6. Is employment verification letter crucial to add for pay slips?
@Sm1smom can you help me out with those?
7. Where to check the UPS lockbox address?

My case number was not too high 4xxx, i submitted my 485 application in February. And was scheduled biometric on April 10th. Since April 10th I haven't heard back yet. The case update is fingerprint taken.
I am worried about not being scheduled an interview yet, and since in my package I did not include biomedical documents and two passport photos, not sure if I will need RFE for that or not? While the time is ticking too. Is there anything I can do right now to expedite or accelerate the process at this stage? Thank you.

Please add your case data to the 2023 Timeline Spreadsheet in order for us to have a better insight into your case and subsequently answer your questions.

Yes, there’s a deadline. Are you a DV2023 selectee?
 
1. Click the Green View Only dropdown at the top of the spreadsheet.
2. Follow the instructions beneath it.

It is possible your previously submitted bio back in Oct, 2022 is being used for this application, hence no new bio appointment notification has been sent. However if that were to be the case, they tend to send another mail informing you of that. It is possible they sent it already and it got lost in the mail or was not delivered by USPS for some reason. You need to contact the customer service agents, either by phone or through chat with Emma and request to know if your bio appointment already got scheduled or the notification mailed out to you.

Hello Mom

Tried calling USCIS can't get through to officer, Emma won't give me necessary information. Can I go to the congressmen now?
 
I heard back from my state rep. today. My application was approved without an interview. My case status online was finally updated to “ new card being produced” I am waiting for the approval notice and the card.

Thank you so so much for all the help you’ve provided!You made the process a little less intimidating. I will update the spreadsheet as soon as I can.

Okay, so for now there’s no point in discussing if processing AOS is too late or not IMO. We can revisit this when the following two conditions have been met: (1) you’re already in the US and (2) your CN has become current.

In the interim though, you might want to spend some time going over the AOS Process Spreadsheet to enhance your understanding and familiarize yourself with the steps involved.

Thank you very much!!i would like to know,if my CN becomes current it there gonna be an impact of me arriving early?
