DV 2023 AOS (Adjustment of Status) Only

FO stands for field office. You will get all the info if you spend some time reading the spreadsheet. You can find the spreadsheet if you go back to page 1 of this forum and you will see a link highlighted “AOS PROCESS AND DOCUMENTS”

Same with my case. Talked to tier 2 agent over the phone and got the same reply as yours. It’s good that they’re aware of the limited time we have.

I requested to speak to the Tier 2 Officer last week on June 14th and today I got a callback. I explained my case, and she requested that I wait 60 days after the interview date. If I hear nothing from the USCIS by then I should call back to request them to submit Service Request on my behalf.

Just to note that during the start of the call, she explained that they are aware of the time limit of DV-based AOS and they usually try their best to finalize cases before the end of the fiscal year.

Oh yes!
I sent a form accessed through the congressman's website on May 25th. I received feedback from the congress office to wait for a response (give them 30 working days) on June 5th. If they would not have communicated after 30 working days I should follow up.

I completed my interview on 06/05/2023 and I've not received any updates! (my officer said my background has not been completed )I chatted with Emma and they said we see exactly what I see online

This is quite normal. Most FOs do not update the online status until the case has been adjudicated, so the agents will not be able to see any information about the completed interview while the case decision is pending.
 
Hello Everyone, My AOS package is ready but im only missing the receipt from DOS for $330. I have scanned the check and scanned the receipt from USPS showing that i paid the amount properly shipped to DOS. Im thinking to include this copies to my file and send it to USCIS Tomorrow. Do you think i should wait for a receipt from DOS(may take 4-6 week) or just send it with this proof and add note about it on my cover letter. Thanks in advance

Mailing your AOS package with or without the actual payment receipt is really your call. Make the decision you’re going to be comfortable with regardless of the outcome.
 
Hello. I received my interview notice on my mail on June 16th but on uscis status tracker no update still show fingerprints were taken as of today. Those still waiting for interview check your mails often. A notice could have been sent already.

J'ai un cousin qui a gagné à la loterie que j'aide avec le processus de visa. Donc, mes questions sont après le remplissage de DS 260, c'est ce que nous avons d'autre avant l'entretien. Faut-il envoyer le dossier DS 260 à compléter au KCC. Y a-t-il une date limite pour envoyer ce fichier.

I have a cousin who won the lottery whom I help with the visa process. So my questions are after DS 260 fills is what else we have before servicing. Is it necessary to send the DS 260 file to complete to the KCC. Is there a deadline for sending this file.

When was your case number current? and when did you had your biometric done?

I didn’t send a dos receipt When I submitted my I-485 , but they sent me a RFE to send the actual payment , if u can send the actual stamped payment (cashed check)with ur package I think it’s better than to send it without a receipt, it’s your decision

Thanks for your reply Eric. Did you include any type of proof that you paid the fee or not at all. As i said, i will include a copy of the check and a receipt from the USPS to show them i actually paid the DOS fee. I just dont want to wait 5-6 weeks to get a receipt from the dos. Worse case, they will send RFE and by that time i will have a receipt from the Dos hopefully. Good luck with your AOS process

1. Is your cousin a DV 2023 selectee?
2. Is your cousin processing AOS or CP?

I took a picture for the written check ( not the cashed check) and I sent it with the package and I sent the receipt but they didn’t accept them , but when they sent a RFE they asked for a cashed check, I went to usps office and I asked them for the cashed MO , they charged about $20 and after week they emailed and mailed it to me , then I sent it to the FO , but tbh my FO they will take a long time to make a decision after I submitted my RFE response, it’s your choice, good luck
