DV 2023 AOS (Adjustment of Status) Only

Hi,
My case number was not high AS4xxx, i submitted my 485 application in February. And was scheduled biometric on April 10th. Since April 10th I haven't heard back yet. The case update is fingerprint taken.
I am worried about not being scheduled an interview yet, and since in my package I did not include biomedical documents and two passport photos, not sure if I will need RFE or not? While the time is ticking too. Is there anything I can do right now to expedite or accelerate the process at this stage? Thank you.

Hello again!
Those questions probably were asked before but I could not find an answer. It is regarding I-134.
1. In part 3, page page 6, there is part of the table "Income Contribution to the Beneficiary Annually". Does it mean that my sponsor has to put annual income or how much he could contribute to me annually? It is so confusing
2. Also, if the sponsor will fill in the form do I need to omit Part 4, page 8,9 with signature and ONLY sponsor has to sign it? Please help me with those!
@Sm1smom if you could answer, I would be so grateful.
Thank you!

Th

Thank you very much!!i would like to know,if my CN becomes current it there gonna be an impact of me arriving early?
I don’t see the connection between your CN becoming current and its impact on you arriving early. Like I already stated, we can resume the discussion when the two conditions I listed are met.

Your FO, Brooklyn, is one of those that seems to batch DV based AOS cases together for processing towards the end of the FY. If you take a look at the Timeline spreadsheet, you’ll see of all the reported cases from that FO, only one has been fully processed. You should initiate a congressional case assistance inquiry at this point.

1. Sponsor’s annual income.
2. Correct.

Thanks mom. Is there a high likelihood i get an RFE based on these two documents missing? And how does the late processing can affect the final response in that case?

1. Yes, if they decide to approve the case without an interview, they will issue you with a RFE to submit the medical report.
2. I don’t understand the second part of your post.

p.s: number your questions when you have more than one per post.

I assume one can fill I-485, online, and if that is the case can you save your entries midstream and return to complete it another day or time (as one could with Form DS-260)

2. How often (or likely) do the FO request the original of a birth certificate at the interview after submitting a copy with the I-485 submission. How critical is it if for any reason , one does not haver the original at the interview.
Responses appreciated

1. You can try saving a half completed form to see if you’re able to resume filling it at a later time.
2. There’s an expectation for an applicant to attend their interview with the original copy of any submitted supporting documents. The IO reserves the right to request to see the original document at the time of the interview. If you scroll through the thread, you’ll come across interview accounts of some who already completed the process.

Hi All

Our CGs are on the way (were mailed yesterday) I have a question regarding SSN Cards to all folks who already got them: How long did it take for you guys to receive SSN Cards after the arrival of GCs? more or less

Thanks

Hello everyone. This is our status right now:

Interview Was Completed And My Case Must Be Reviewed

How I understand, supervisor will review a case and send a request to KCC .
Maybe someone had the same ?

It means case is yet to be approved. Try not to analyze any update you see, remain patient. Any other message at this point outside of approved or CPO basically means case yet to be approved. And yes, some cases have had this same update in the past.

hello, i live within the US, when my number comes current, is there a way to know your green card can come without needing an interview?

Hello Mum,
I want to walk in for my biometrics. 1. Do you recommend going early/afternoon or it doesn't make a difference? 2. Also, what should I say as a reason for the walk in?

If i were you i would check the AOS timeline spreadsheet from last few years to compare and see if anyone from your FO has their interview waived. Having said that i hope you have followed all the steps to adjust the status.

1. I cannot recommend any specific time for doing a walk-in attempt. It's a matter of luck - largely dependent on how busy the ASC is and how accommodating the folks working there are.
2. Please use your discretion.

Hi @Sm1smom and @Blade_
I requested to speak to the Tier 2 Officer last week on June 14th and today I got a callback. I explained my case, and she requested that I wait 60 days after the interview date. If I hear nothing from the USCIS by then I should call back to request them to submit Service Request on my behalf.

Just to note that during the start of the call, she explained that they are aware of the time limit of DV-based AOS and they usually try their best to finalize cases before the end of the fiscal year.

She also pointed out that she could only see the last update of the Fingerprint taken on April 11th and nothing about the Interview.
