DV 2023 AOS (Adjustment of Status) Only

We had interview on may 3 ,2023 Europe 26k case was current on march send document in February recieved fingerprint for march 31 all was good . Attended interview everything went well . Officer said 95% I will approve this case within a week and 5% if any documents missing I will send request for evidence. I had even I-134 completed from us citizen son , even showed money in bank account . We were happy and left interview . So I was keep checking my case status online everyday since may 3 . Today my case was updated to denied I am so shocked . Trying to calm and wait for letter and see the reason . I never had any overstay or anything illegal here in us . I am still so depressed
I‘m so sorry to hear of your denial. As chat members mentioned above you might be still able to appeal or correct depending on denial reason. I was going through your previous posts and see that you worried about being here on B2 visa and that IO might think that you had an immigration attempt . Did they mention something on interview regarding your “attempt“ or being out of status on a moment of being interviewed?

Nothing was mentioned but I did stated on application that was B2

Had my interview today (finally!) at the Queens NY Field Office. I was the first interview of the day and it all went smoothly. FO was friendly and efficient. She'd reviewed my case the day before and knew that everything appeared in order.
Asked for my passport/ID, birth certificate, Diplomas and employment verification letter. Verified all the details on my form and went through the standard Yes/No questions. No curly or unexpected questions. Took about 15-20 minutes all up.

Case status updated to "New Card is Being Produced" ~ 2 hours later.

Thanks so much @Sm1smom for this forum and being such an amazing super moderator. My case was fairly straight forward, but appreciated all the advice, trackers, documentation guidance and everything this forum and community provide. It made the whole journey so much easier!

@Sm1smom Received an email from USCIS stating:
"Thank you for your inquiry dated April 25, 2023.

After careful review of your inquiry, we determined that your issue will be best addressed by the USCIS office processing your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status; therefore, we are forwarding your inquiry to the National Benefits Center. The referral ID for this inquiry is **************. The National Benefits Center will contact you concerning your case once they have reviewed your inquiry."

I believe this is from my request to be contacted by a Tier 2 officer. Since then, I received an interview letter for May 31st. From what I understand, nothing to do/worry about but wanted to get your thoughts as to what that could mean/lead to and whether I should do anything about it?

Yup. Nothing else for you to do with regards to that response.

Adding your data to the Timeline Spreadsheet is one of the ways that may help us help you figure out your situation. I remember encouraging you to do so back in early March, which you acknowledged, but never bothered to do till now.
Oh I am sorry you meant I have to add it . My English isn’t so good . I am using a lot of translation . I will try and do it this evening

Hello, my wife and I interviewed at the Queens FO today. Our appointment was at 10am, we had one IL for both of us. The officer was very friendly, she asked for our original birth and marriage certificates and diploma, then proceeded with the oath. We reviewed together the I-485 of both of us and gave her our new i-94 (we had to exit US in March, so we printed our new I-94). Everything went very smoothly and in the end the officer said she approved our case. I just checked and (about 2h after the interview) on myuscis our case was updated to "New Card is being produced".

I want to point out (which may be helpful for someone in the same situation) that at the moment of AOS application, my wife was on J1, and after a month she transitioned to H1B. We had doubts about her leaving the country because her case could be in a grey area where she was on a dual intent visa but the AOS package only had J1 in it. The officer was very chill on this matter because technically she was on H1B when exited the country, so no AP was needed.

Thanks, @Sm1smom for the support and all the answers!

I hope you all will have a smooth process and a GC very soon!!

Congratulations and thanks for the updates.

Hello @Sm1smom we got our welcome notices today. However, I want to ask you a question. I am the primary applicant. My spouse had the card was mailed to me update yesterday. Mine is still case was approved. We got a message from USPS with a tracking number and it shows that it was mailed from USCIS. My question is, does USCIS send both of our green cards with that mail or just my spouse's? I heard there are some cases where the dependent needs to wait a bit more but I haven't heard anything about the primary one. There were many wrong updates throughout the process from Case Tracker but just want to check this with you.

Each applicant’s GC gets mailed separately. It isn’t unusual for both cards to not get mailed at the same time regardless of who was the main selectee or derivative.
