DV 2023 AOS (Adjustment of Status) Only

On may 11th I had my biometrics appointment, on may 12th I have got an update “you case it ready to be scheduled for an interview”. after that i haven’t received any updates or mails from uscis. it’s been one week. do i need to be concerned
It is hard to comment as you are not listed on the AOS timeline spreadsheet. What you said on its own is not cause for concern. You need to compare yourself with your fellow applicants from your FO.

Do you advise requesting to speak to tier 2 and sending a congressional inquiry at the same time?
Since it is May, I would give it an additional week before making a congressional inquiry. You still may not hear back from tier 2 after a week, but there is a chance you can have the tier 1 to put an urgent call back, which takes 72 hrs.

It took 3 business days for me to get my status changed from "you case it ready to be scheduled for an interview" to "Interview was scheduled". Which FO you are?

@Sm1smom I have heard that at the interview they may be able to provide with a stamp in the passport to allow for international travel until the GC arrives in the mail. In the event that the interview goes well and the IO doesn't mention any blocker/problem, do you think it's risky or a bad idea to ask about international travel until the GC arrives so as to get the stamp in the passport and be able to travel internationally until then?

Thanks!

If the IO is willing to provide the stamp (which is a temporary GC) at the end of the interview, there’s no harm in using the stamp to undertake an trip.

Hi! I'm very happy! My status was changed from "Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken" to "New Card Is Being Produced" today! I had included all necessary documents in the package @Sm1smom Thank you for your support! Good luck to all of us and fingers crossed!
How long did it take for you and which field office?

@DILUAE @Hello_all @AMN75 for your information
Congratulations. Did you hear any update for your congressional inquiry before your status changed?

Thank you! I sent them an email on early May, to see if there has been any update since they initiated the inquiry on April 19th.
They sent me an email back to say their office is pending a response from the agency and we must allow them a minimum of 45 days to get a response. Since then, I didn't hear any update

@nur1234 CONGRATS!!! These are great news, happy to hear that things are starting to move at the San Antonio Office! My status hasn't changed but these news make me very hopeful!

Thank you again for keeping us updated!

Hi,

Five days ago I paid the DV Administrative Fee using a money order. I just checked the status on USPS.com and it shows that the money order was delivered to the wrong P.O. Box Saint Louis, MO 63166 :eek:! The right one, which of course is the one I wrote down, is P.O. Box 979079 St. Louis, Missouri 63197-9000. I will go ask at the USPS office what happened and what I need to do but in the meantime I would like to know if it happens often and if you know if this will result in a significant delay.

Thanks
