DV 2023 AOS (Adjustment of Status) Only

Hi Mum, I am originally from Nepal, where we follow our own calendar. On my birth certificate, the date is written in the Nepali calendar. Should it also be written in the English date format?

Yes, all dates should be in Gregorian calendar.

Same case like mine and I requested a certified birth certificate in English from the district.

Hi,

Five days ago I paid the DV Administrative Fee using a money order. I just checked the status on USPS.com and it shows that the money order was delivered to the wrong P.O. Box Saint Louis, MO 63166 ! The right one, which of course is the one I wrote down, is P.O. Box 979079 St. Louis, Missouri 63197-9000. I will go ask at the USPS office what happened and what I need to do but in the meantime I would like to know if it happens often and if you know if this will result in a significant delay.

Thanks
Hi,

Does anyone know if it happens often and if the USPS office can easily solve this problem? Thanks

Usually when you send mail by wrong address they will send it back to your mailbox, if you want send a package again to department of state I recommend to send it by priority mail and get the tracking number and put priority self addressed envelope in the package and keep the tracking number for the self addressed envelope to track it.

You probably didn't read carefully. I'm talking about the money order (not the package) and I didn't send it to the wrong address. The money order has been delivered to the wrong P.O. Box by the USPS Office, I don't know how.
@Sm1smom Do you have any idea what could have happened?

What is the P.O.Box (not the zip code) which it got delivered to, and how were you able to determine it got delivered to the wrong P.O.Box?

Hello Sm1smom

My CN 2023AF54XXX became effective in the month of May, I sent my I-485 package on 05/04/2023 until today I have not received the acceptance text or date of receipt of the email, is it a cause for concern?

yes, see AOS FAQ, row 27.
@Blade_ a quick question: Right now, there are VBs for May and June. May has numbers for May and June, and June has numbers for June and July. this actually means we know visa numbers for July starting the month of May!! So if numbers become current for the month of July, can one early file in May?

1. See AOS FAQ (line 45).
2. Please add your info to timeline. This helps yourself by getting better feedbacks. I didn't need to ask to know if your payment was cashed if you already had provided the info in the timeline.

You can use early filling to send a package today if your CN will become current in July.

Thank you so much Blade. I sent the package and receipts for all fees already paid.
How do I add my information to the timeline ?

In the timeline, click on "view only" -> "request edit access"

PS I meant if the fee for the package has been cashed, not the KCC receipt.

I didn’t catch it, you have to send the money order and the SASE and the adjustment fee paper (you have to put them in same package ) to this location :
U.S. Department of State
Diversity Visa Program
P.O. Box 979079
St. Louis, Missouri 63197-9000
If you sent your package included a money order to the location what I mentioned above you good

1. What is your CN?
2. Can you share the actual Notice you received? (Be sure to remove your personal information before uploading the notice)
So I know the issue I called , I actually made mistake on actual dv application. And was selected as AZeri and didn’t know the country of birth considering. My letter states selectee AZeri and they said I am born in Uzbekistan and it is in Exception , so I guess my only option is to leave . Or speak to a lawyer what can be done . I don’t know to much but I was looking up I-601A waiver and then defile I-485 but don’t think it will work

Did you fill the country of birth section in the first entry as you born in azeri and in the reality you born in uzbak ?
