DV 2023 AOS (Adjustment of Status) Only

Does the RFE say anything about April 24th?

By the way, I took another look at your RFE. It actually says to send a copy of your fee payment to the FO. So I think you already have what they're requesting for, even if you do not have the receipt from KCC - you have a copy of the cashed MO which shows what the payment was for, you have confirmation the payment has already been processed - those are things you can send in to your FO in response to the RFE. You do not need to send in a new payment to KCC, ignore my previous suggestion about making a new payment.

You’re panicking so much such that you’re not paying attention to the content of the RFE and what you need to do. The letter does not say anything about April 24th. I mean how could it say such considering today is already Apr. 27th, 3 days passed Apr. 24th! The RFE says May 24th!!! That is how long you have to respond to the RFE before the case gets denied.

Hi Mum, I applied for EAD card in May. I haven't got it. Is it because of AOS application? I haven't send the AOS package. But, paid the DV receipt fee.
Another question is: I am working in cpt but will be working in opt from next month. DO I need sponsorship in AOS package? Some are saying, I do need, some I do not. So, I wanted to get best advice from you.

On what basis did you apply for the EAD?
Do you have enough (substantial) savings in your account to use in demonstrating you’re unlikely to become a public charge? If the answer is YES, you may decide to not include an I-134 with your AOS package. If the answer is NO, I recommend you plan on including an I-134 (plus applicable supporting documents) with your AOS package.

Would be great if you return the favor in practice by adding your name in the timeline. Knowing your current status would have helped to see the basis of your EAD application.

I am working in university research center. I am going to start my cpt after graduating next week.

I am from Nepal. I looked at the data and realized that my case is 40 cases behind. In last two months, case number hasn;t changed in Nepal region. Do you suggest me to do early filling for june?

If your CN falls below the cutoff numbers listed on the VB, you may decide to take advantage of the early filing option if you like. Keep monitoring the VB for when that happens.

Dear @Mira22 @mbsambo and @wadzanai . You guys are my fellow DV winners whose Field Offices are also in St. Louis. I wanted to deliver the good news that our Field Office offers Interview Waivers afterall. I had my packet delivered to the Lockbox on March 15th, Bio was scheduled for April 17th, then today, my USCIS account is showing the update: "New Card Is Being Produced". So I believe they have decided to approve my case without an interview. I wish all three of you to be met with similar fortune.

You can let your sponsor know there is no official commitment duration as the form is not legally enforceable. However if they are not satisfied with that, inform them there is a section on the form where they can specify the exact form of support they're willing to provide you with and for how long.

If you've lost your previous travel documents with which one entered the US -ie passport and 1-94 form . and you write "N/A" the box asking for info on these documents, in the I-485, are you required to provide some other documents to support your response?

Seeing as that is the section for demonstrating you were inspected and admitted, and you're not an illegal alien, you'll need to figure out on your own how to demonstrate that. I do not think simply writing "N/A" will be enough.
