DV 2023 AOS (Adjustment of Status) Only

Hello,
Does anyone have information how is St.Louis office operating or how has it worked in the past? I see the DV 2022 timeline but there is only one case in this office and I can't really make predictions.

I emailed the Senator requesting their assistance in following up on my time-limited case. They have called me to say that I should wait until August as the processing time is 6 months.

I'm going to email the Congressman this time, hoping they'll help me out.

I have some questions:
1-) On privacy release form for the Congressman, it is asking if I have contacted any other elected official regarding my case. Can I tick No, since they told I should wait and didn't initiate a casework

2-) On the other hand, should I call USCIS by trying to connect to Tier2 to clarify if my case is lost or something like AP
Hi @nur1234,

Were you able to get an update from USCIS?

I don't understand why such a delay in San Antonio Field Office.

Thank you.

Hello @Sm1smom
I’ve been waiting for 70 days since I finished biometric is this normal timeframe, Can I submit “Case outside normal processing time” ?
My previous response to you: "Two similar cases with your FO from the 2022 set (filed late Jan, early Feb, I think) got interviewed late July - looks like yours is trending along that same timeline" is still applicable to the first part of your above post.

Yes, you can try submit that if the system allows you - that tool is really designed for "regular" AOS cases, and not the DV based AOS cases which are already considered expedited cases due to the fact that USCIS tend to fast-track those applications due to the sunset clause attached to them.

I am really sorry by mistake I meant 8 weeks.
Ok. So you’re able to confirm the payment you sent in 8 weeks ago is yet to be cashed? You checked with the issuing authority and they confirmed the payment is yet to be presented for processing?

You created an unnecessary issue for yourself by adding your wife on your eDV registration, she should not have been listed in the first place. Anyway, what's done is done. I have no idea how long it may take for them to respond. Normally if they are satisfied with your explanation, they will not send a reply. They will simply send the KCC file to your FO in that case, and we have no way of knowing when that happens.
Hi, @Sm1smom!
Today, after sending a new mail to KCC, they respond me back with this!
Does it mean that I’m good now and just waiting for my appointment!?

As I checked the status of my money orders, unfortunately they did not cashed them and in email every time they mention that the payment has not been received. Please allow 2 to 3 weeks for payment processing.
I asked them many times to cash money orders but only get templet answer.
Kindly please let me know if I have any other option to do.

Best Regards

Waiting 8 weeks for the MO to get processed is highly unusual. Who did you make the MO payable to and which address did you mail it to?

I provided two USPS money orders and send them to US department of state, Diversity Visa program P.O.Box 979079 st.louis.Missouri 63197-9000

After I did not hear back KCC regarding 2NL, I submitted DS-260 for all my dependents and I last week as those are interested to adjust our status while we are in the US. Do you think was that right?
Thank you

Did you include the necessary information on a separate sheet of paper with the payment?

It really doesn't matter at this point whether I think it is the right thing to do or not since it's already done.

Dear mom kindly please advise me what can I do now? I email 2-3 times to KCC every day but just get the answer wait for 2-3 weeks to proceed.

Yes I included the separate sheet of paper with my case number and number of dependents
That is quite interesting. The payment should have been cashed/processed by now, even if they're yet to send you the receipt.

Do you have copies of the MOs you sent in?
