DV 2023 AOS (Adjustment of Status) Only

Thanks samsonlee for the info.
Did you have an interview before the approval, and if so did it come up during the interview,? btw , which FO location did you send in your application?
One more thing, what were the core documents you submitted .
I believe the only two essential USCIS forms that MUST be completed by all are 1-485 and I-693(Medical exam) form. Could you confirm that?
Any one else could please chime in , if I'm missing something.
samsonlee's interview was waived. Her/his FO is Dallas.

You can find all the necessary information about the documents that need to be submitted on the spreadsheet.

Hi mom,

I did my son's bio walk-in a week ago. But case status still didn't update to 'Finger print has received' . Is it normal or some issue with bio walk-in? Because it's scheduled for April 27th.

I am so sorry - that is really frustrating. I hope you hear some news soon. We're a few months behind you. I wonder if they do them in batches.
Thank you! I really hope so too :) LA office is the slowest one and not waiving interviews like others do. I think too many applications in general. Anyways will keep you updated.

Just before I am ready to file a mandamus, I got the USCIS email yesterday from my previous outside-of-normal-processing-time e-request saying "According to our records, your case was closed and terminated."
Is that often the reply for denial? Should I start thinking about I-290B? They still didn't update my case status and the reply sounds quite scary.

Hello,

I just got a letter from USCIS that they have got my paperwork and currently working processing my case!! Very happy, I hope all goes well. I sent my paperwork to Chicago on April 4th, and today April 25th I received this from from USCIS!

Not a typical response for DV based AOS applications.

You should add your progress updates to the 2023 Timeline spreadsheet.

Hi mom,

what will happen if KCC would not provide me payment receipt fee even until interview date? It has been 8 months KCC didn't cash my money orders and every time in response of my email said wait 2-3 weeks to payment proceed.

Hi Mom,
I am still waiting for the interview. I gave my biometric on March 24th 2023. I have not seen update of any applicant for New Orleans field office. Do you think its time for me to contact congressman or I should wait little longer. What do you suggest me?

Hi Mom, today I finally got the response from USCIS via congressman office. They said my case remains pending at my field office, and will be schedule for an eligibiltiy interview when an interview slot becomes availalable. At this time, I think only thing is to keep waiting...

How could it have been 8 months since KCC did not cash your payment considering you were asking questions about when and how to make the payment not too long ago - on Feb. 8th to be precise?

Did you check previous years’ Timeline spreadsheets to get an idea of how long on average it’s taken NO FO in the past?

I see one applicant named as wuffer_duffer in 2022 list. And I believe he has the longest timeline in the history, total 324 days. This looks so crazy. I am worried about NO FO.
