Copy of the MO on it's own does not necessarily proof payment was made. Did you include a SASE with your payment?
Yes I did, when I sent the money order I wrote my case number on it.
This is copy of the cashed money order from the back.
Do you recommend to pay the fee again to speed up my AOS process.

Does the copy of the cashed MO show what the payment was for? DV cases are not the only ones requiring payment to the DOS. Anyway, if you included a SASE with your payment, the receipt will eventually show up.

And no, I do not recommend making a new payment. Doing so will not necessarily speed up your case. KCC will contact you if the payment has not yet been received since they cannot forward your KCC case file upon request by the IO to your FO. So since KCC has not contacted you, the payment is not the reason for any perceived delay.

Yes, if you took a look for the copy of the money order from the back you can see the po box number for Diversity Visa Program 979079 I think this po box number especially for dv lottery fee , btw I wrote their name on the money order.

@JULIA-GLOWS Have you had any response yet? LA Office doesn't seem to have had any action - you've been waiting a very long time.
I’m trying not to stress out , even though is really hard to stay calm at this point . NO RESPONSE! I want to get to 30 days mark from congressman inquiry which is May 1st. If there is no updates I will initiate an inquiry with a senator office.

I think you’re not quite getting what my previous post was really driving at. At the end of the day, what the MO shows doesn’t matter at this point. In general, USCIS will not demand you submit proof of payment unless KCC states you’re yet to make the Administrative fee payment which will subsequently delay the KCC case file transfer to the FO like I previously explained, and if that were the case, KCC will directly reach out to you to request the payment. So stop stressing about needing to demonstrate to USCIS you’ve already made that payment. The IO, at the time of the interview, may request a copy of the payment receipt, if for some reason the copy you sent in is missing from your folder (or no copy was included in the KCC file they received). And if you do not have the receipt at that point, present what you’ve posted above in that case.

Btw I just checked my case status they updated it and they asked for evidence, I’m waiting the mail to see what they say

I am so sorry - that is really frustrating. I hope you hear some news soon. We're a few months behind you. I wonder if they do them in batches.

I have been trying to get in touch with a tier 2 officer and haven't been able to go past the IVR. Emma on the chat keeps closing on me and isn't really helpful. Does anyone have any tips on how to reach a tier 2 officer?

You will not automatically get connected to a Tier 2 personnel. However, if you keeping saying "INFOPASS" when you call, it will eventually connect you to a customer service rep who will schedule a call back from a Tier 2 personnel if they feel your case warrants it.

Thank you @Sm1smom ! I have actually been able to get from a Tier 1 personnel that my case was sent to the NY FO on March 16th. I have been anxiously waiting for the IL without any news so far. I imagine it's still too early to reach out to my congressman but do you think there could be some benefits trying to get to a Tier 2 officer now or still wait a bit before doing so? Biometrics was March 20th and Case was opened March 2nd.

Hello Mom, I finished my biometric on Jan 19th. Since processing from my field office (Baltimore, MD) is very slow, the congressman office helped me file inquiry to USCIS in the end of February. Last week, I told to congressman office, and they said USCIS still did not give them response. Do I need to request further inquriy with senator's office? or it probaly gets the same condition. Thanks
Hello Mom, Today, I asked Emma about any update on my case. Emma said my case was with officer from my field office on Mar, 13th. Last month or early April, I did not hear anything related to this from Emma. I'm glad my case is something moving... after biometric. Do you recommend to contact congressman office for this? Pending decision has been for over a month since my case was assigned by the officer. Thank you.

Thanks samsonlee for the info.
Did you have an interview before the approval, and if so did it come up during the interview,? btw , which FO location did you send in your application?
One more thing, what were the core documents you submitted .
I believe the only two essential USCIS forms that MUST be completed by all are 1-485 and I-693(Medical exam) form. Could you confirm that?
Any one else could please chime in , if I'm missing something.

It wouldn't hurt, if you're able to connect with a Tier 2 personnel.

Another LA FO applicant here, not quite at waiting for IL stage yet but looking at last year IL notices from the LA FO only started getting received starting from mid April (with just one exception).
