DV 2023 AOS (Adjustment of Status) Only

You created an unnecessary issue for yourself by adding your wife on your eDV registration, she should not have been listed in the first place. Anyway, what's done is done. I have no idea how long it may take for them to respond. Normally if they are satisfied with your explanation, they will not send a reply. They will simply send the KCC file to your FO in that case, and we have no way of knowing when that happens.

Follow the below steps to send an access request to the Timeline spreadsheet:
1. Click the Green View Only dropdown at the top of the spreadsheet
2. Follow the instructions beneath it

Two similar cases with your FO from the 2022 set (filed late Jan, early Feb, I think) got interviewed late July - looks like yours is trending along that same timeline.
1. Yes, you can initiate a congressional assistance at this point.
2. If your current status expires while your AOS application is still pending, you do not need to go back home at that point. You’re eligible to remain in the US until the AOS application is adjudicated, which should be no later than Sept. 30th of course.
 
Hello Mom, today i received NOA (receipt letter) from USCIS. Upon checking online with the receipt number it shows- “ Case was updated to show fingerprints were taken”

1: does it mean my old fingerprints record (Asylum) were used and I don’t have to do my bio again?

2: if yes, my next step is background check. Is there a way to track how far they are with the background check.

3: Since my background is all clean is there a possibility of my interview getting waived as i have properly front loaded my AOS file.

Your advise is highly appreciated.

1. Yes.
2. No way of checking.
3. If the background check comes back clear and your FO is approving DV based cases without any interview, yes.

I know, thanks for all you’re doing mom! I spent all day yesterday writing KCC and getting responses like they are not reading my mails finally I got theses!

Does it cause any issue if my financial status in DS2019 form will change from self fund to paid, after filing i485?

Hi, i just contacted with usps to provide me a copy of the money order, and they did.
My question is can I provide a copy of the MO as proof of dv payment fee if USCIS asked about receipt?
Btw it’s been more than 55 days after they cashed the money order.

Yeah, you're right. I remember seeing that on the spreadsheet not too long ago. If we had that information, it would have been easy to compare your progress to it, as against trying to determine when is a good time to initiate a case follow-up.

Hey Mom,

We don't know what happened to our spreadsheet data, but we certainly didn't delete it. Someone else may have deleted or overwritten our entry.

No worries. I was able to restore the data. All the best with your upcoming interview.

Copy of the MO on it's own does not necessarily proof payment was made. Did you include a SASE with your payment?
