DV 2022 AOS (Adjustment of Status) Only

Hi, I am processing via AOS AS23XXX and have submitted my DS260 however since I submitted my DS260, I moved to a new place. Do I need to unlock the DS260 and fix the current address? Or will they use the address listed in the I485 once I get current and am able to submit my documents? I guess I am not sure if I need to keep the information in the DS260 up to date if I am processing via AOS. Thank you for your time.
No, you don't need to change DS-260.
Use correct address in i-485 and update address in both USPS and USCIS.

As per my local health department, I need to have two doses of Varicella and the MMR at an interval of 1 month. My question is Will a Civil Surgeon be able to prepare my I-693 after I had the first dose of those vaccines or CS will need to wait for my second dose after 1 month to prepare my I-693?

Got it thanks.

To change address with USCIS, since no form is filed online should I change address via the AR-11 form? I am not sure if the DS260 address is recorded with USCIS.

Yes, the CS should be able to complete the I-693 with just the first dose received if you're required to have multiple dose of an applicable vaccine, with the exception of the COVID-19 vaccines which must be completed before the CS can sign off on the form.

Hi Mom,

I just talked to attorney yesterday and he said that "90 days rule" was replaced by "60 days rule" in 2021. But I can't find anything neither it was replaced nor even cancelled. So he suggested to wait for those 60 days and after send I-485.
So I mean I'm confused cause for me it's obviously better to start AOS now as my CN is current for a few months already but I just get screwed at the every beginning...

I already posted back Feb. 9th in my response to you that USCIS removed all reference to the 90 day rule from the USCIS Policy Manual effective July 16th, 2021. I also explained waiting 90 days (or any other number of days for that matter) prior to filing for AOS after entering the US on a non dual intent NIV does not automatically absolve one of being found of harboring a preconceived intent of filing for AOS prior to or as at the time of being admitted into the US.

So regardless of if you file right away, or wait 30, 60, or 90 days, the IO, at the time of the AOS can still ask why you decided to enter the US and process AOS (even if this intent was originally disclosed at the POE). You will need to be prepared for this. You will need to decide on you own as to when to proceed with the AOS process.

Regardless of if you have a pending application with USCIS or not, you’re required to always update your address with USCIS whenever you move. So yes, you need to file an AR-11 online. This can also be downloaded as a PDF and mailed in. You do not need to update the DS260 form as you've already been informed.

What is the difference if we haven't filled any applications before?
As I remember we changed address through online account and didn't have any problems after we filled i-485.

Does that mean one needs to keep informing USCIS after getting the green card for every address change?

Per INA 265, all foreign nationals, including LPRs who are not USCs are required to notify the USCIS of address changes while in the United States. Notification must be sent to the USCIS of a change of address, in writing, within 10 days of the change. You can file a change of address through an existing USCIS online account (if you already have one). In the absence of that form AR-11 needs to be submitted.

So let me clarify one point which was mentioned many times. I already said in D-260 and expressed my " intention " to AOS . So leaving the US for a short journey abroad and coming back then filing the AOS should not be an issue, right?

I think you need to have Advanced Parole(AP) before you leave the US. If you leave the US while your application is pending, it is considered that you have abandoned your application, and USCIS will not review it. I am not sure about it though. Check out this official USCIS link:

Hi, Just a quick question: What if you have passive tuberculosis and your CS prescribes 9 months of medications? Will CS still be able to prepare my I-693 so that I can send my I-485? Is there a way to keep the change of status going or is it over?

You are talking if the one submitted AOS already, but here I am talking about something else, traveling before submitting AOS.

Most CS refers you to the local health department, but it shouldn't prevent them from signing the form. Check out this link: https://www.cdc.gov/immigrantrefugeehealth/civil-surgeons/tuberculosis.html This says that civil surgeons can sign I-693 before the treatment is completed, but you will be referred to the local health department.
