For those that went to an interview without having biometrics taken before, was anyone taken biometrics the same day in the same location of the interview?
There were one or two reports of their IOs arranging bio done the same day. I don’t remember the FO/s involved. For those that went to an interview without having biometrics taken before, was anyone taken biometrics the same day in the same location of the interview?
You can take a look at the spreadsheet and see who has the same date for both interview and biometric. I remember one applicant having done them both on the same day in Milwaukee FO last year. For those that went to an interview without having biometrics taken before, was anyone taken biometrics the same day in the same location of the interview?
Our case status finally changed to "New Card Is Being Produced" this morning! Thank you guys for helping me on this. Thanks for confirming your chargeability. It is indeed not the reason for your pending approval. It possibly could be travel history related in addition to your field of work being TAL related. Just hang in there, I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you.
Awesome. Congrats. Our case status finally changed to "New Card Is Being Produced" this morning! Thank you guys for helping me on this.
I contacted congressman last week and they sent an inquiry to FO to ask for case status, which seems helpful. I also mailed a letter to FO, however the case status got updated before the letter arrived this morning.

Congratulations @cbs5hiuc. Can you please answer my one question, how did you find attorney who has access to USCIS FO or have appointment there? I was following your steps and just found out that not all attorneys have that access.
I also decided to call USCIS one more time today, following @Sm1smom suggestion on someones post saying "try USCIS until you find nicer agents." And I actually had a nicer agent today, she was very polite and was willing to actually explain everything unlike all the other agents I had. She also told me my case is at Dallas FO since Sept 2 and also filed a form for expedite request and said I'd be getting decision on expedite request by 9/27. Is expedite request dependable? The timing seems very tightDon
Yes . My case was approved and interview was waived. Was super happy .I will update my case on the timeline once i finish some stuff.@Adel10 have you received any updates?
Oh no! I’m sorry to learn of this update. If you could keep us updated as to the reason for the denial after receiving the denial notice, it would be greatly appreciated as we could learn from it.CASE DENIED
Just got an email notification/reply for the e-request, it says they have denied my case and sent a denial notice.
Congratulations!!! Pass on the good luck vibes. I’m still waiting. As long as you got your GC you will sponsor your family. Did you make any calls to USCIS since the last update where they transferred your case?Yes . My case was approved and interview was waived. However, My family Follow To Join is gonna be a sunset as there is not much time left and USCIS Tier 1 and 2 was of NO help.
I’m really sorryCASE DENIED

Hi! Sorry for the delay. Good question - I asked the same to someone in the beginning. I am part of an Australian community page on Facebook and they had a lot of immigration attorney recommendations for NY on there so I moved them all into a spreadsheet and just started calling down the list and explaining the situation and asking them if they had a direct connection to USCIS. Some couldn't tell me without a consult, but when you call 20 the odds of finding one person who is willing to help is pretty good.Congratulations @cbs5hiuc. Say "INFO PASS" and it will get you straight throughHI @jr2022, would you please share how you connect and talk to an agent? I called USCIS contact number several times and said "service request" or "case status" but was unable to connect to a real agent no matter what. Thanks.
When I was speaking to an immigration attorney they told me about a very interesting case they had last year when someone found out they won the lottery a WEEK before the Sept 30th cut off date. They were able to run the application down to the USCIS Field Office and beg the supervisor to review the application, take biometrics AND conduct the interview in the same day. Again, probably a super unique case and would require an attorney but they were successful. For those that went to an interview without having biometrics taken before, was anyone taken biometrics the same day in the same location of the interview?
