DV 2022 AOS (Adjustment of Status) Only

I had listed my physical address and mailing address in two different states on my I-485 form. My bio appointment is scheduled in the state of my mailing address. Since we can try to give biometrics in any ASC, If I give my biometrics in the state of my physical address, will my interview appointment be scheduled in the state of my physical address?
Where you complete your bio will not influence or determine where you interview appointment gets scheduled. If the NBC already scheduled your bio based on your mailing address (which they shouldn’t have done), it is possible they also already forwarded your AOS file to the FO with jurisdiction over your mailing address and not your physical address.

p.s. thanks for confirming what I’ve been saying all these while re mailing address being in a different location/State to the physical address and the bio appointment scheduling.

What options do I have if I did not add the medical exam to the AOS Package before sending it? Should I go ahead and do the medical exam and send it in? Will it impact my case negatively at all?

You typically only get the letter in the mail, no email or phone call. 17 days doesn't sound that far out of the norm, so I wouldn't worry, but you can try to get a human agent via the Emma chat. I forget exactly how you do it, just try typing things like "live agent" etc. Do some searches here and you'll find hints on how to do it. Once you have a real human, they can check if there's an appointment scheduled, although even that is not 100% reliable. I would keep screenshots of any conversation so you
Hi folks,
I was wondering did you receive your bio schedule notice in letter form or was it an email/ or phone call first? It’s been about 17 days since I last heard anything from USCIS and I’m a little bit worried, because the timeline spreadsheet usually indicates a 12-14 days wait time. I asked Emma and it didn’t yield any result. Should I continue waiting? Are there any other method that I can choose to ask?
there can be situations you get a phone call and email...i got call from the field office last year asking if i can come in for interview since they had a cancellation - they also emailed me the interview letter. It depends on the field office i guess.

I do not like spending my time responding to hypothetical questions/situations. Did you or did you not include the medical report? If you did not include it, what plan did you have in mind back then for addressing the situation? What does the lawyer you hired to help with your DV based AOS application recommend?

Thank you for y’all’s response, I just called The 1800 number and I got the appointment info. They said that they sent out the letter on may 27 but there might be delay bc of Memorial Day. I should receive it next Monday but if not I have to call them and ask them to email it to me.

For a Biometric appointment, are we allowed to take a photocopy of the appointment notice, or we must take the original notice from USCIS?

Probably the original. From what I remembered from my biometric they stamped and signed the bio notice with the date the bio was completed.

Yes you can take a photocopy, as long as that copy is very clear and legible. The only difference may be the quality of the paper used. There have been cases (non DV based AOS applications of course) where an applicant has been able to download a copy of the uploaded notice/letter from their online account and successfully used the downloaded copy to attend their appointment while waiting for the mailed “original” notice to show up in the mail.

Hello ! Congratulations!! Happy for you
I have a question: did you sent the form I-134 Affidavit of Support in your AOS package ? If yes, did you fill it out by yourself or did you have a sponsor filling that out for you ?
Also, did you send any tax transcript and pay slips ?
Hello,
Apologies for my late response. I did not submit form I-134 form. I submitted tax transcripts (past 3 years) and payslips (past 6 months). Hope this helps!

Hi,

My DV Fee check is cached almost a month ago. I requested my DV Fee receipt and got a response from KCC that said
KCC has received your request. Your adjustment of status receipt was sent to your current postal address on June 02, 2022. If you do not receive this by June 20, 2022 you must supply KCC with an email address.
But there is no indication of an update on the tracking number when I checked the package even today on June 6th.
Should I include this response as proof of DV fee payment in my AOS package, and send the AOS package without waiting for the actual receipt?

Can a friend or a family member go inside the field office with me while I wait for an officer to call me for my interview ?
No. Other than a lawyer, interpreter or someone required for assistance for a disabled person, no one is allowed inside other than those being interviewed.

patience. There’s a reason they tell you June 20.

Hi, I have several questions. I could not find them in the forum.

1. My doctor did not ask me to take Varicella shot. It is one of the necessary shots listed in the list. What should I do?
2. Should I also submit records of Vaccines or the sealed I -693 is enough? I gave the records to the doctor's office.

Thanks for your help

Hi, I have several questions. I could not find them in the forum.

1. How much should write a check for for my 9 years old child? $750 or $1140? for filing I-485. I am married and have a single kid.

1. $750 ( You can find this in the spreadsheet, link below if it does not open go to the first page of this forum )
2. He perhaps wrote a family history that is accepted by USCIS.
3. Sealed I 693 is enough (make sure that things are okay with the doctor)

The answers can be found on the AOS Process Spreadsheet.

1. $750 for children under 14 filing with a parent.
2. Take a look at the copy of your form I-693, what did the CS put in front of the Varicella Vaccine on the “Part 10 Vaccination Record” of the form?
3. Just the sealed I-693.

Thanks a lot. I will check those.

Another question. Do I include $85 biometrics fee for a 9 year old child or there is no biometrics fee for a child that age?
Thanks
