You just need to walk-in during office hours...Take your Photo-id and FP Original Notice from INS ,thatz all...you need not call...I went during lunch hr ie 12noon...so better be there early than when they are about to close the office....:)

my EAD was approved yesterday, still have to hear about AP and EB1-OR but am feeling bit ok.. my FP is schedulled for march 27th but since I will be out of town, planing to get done by next week.

Congrats on your EAD approval and FP notice. See, I told you that it is a big waiting game. Now, I hope that our I-140s, which must have passed a preliminary review, will be approved soon. Then, it is the big waiting game for I-485, the final frontier....

yesterday my AP was also approved and also visa change to H1b from J1. I hope that our EB1-OR gets approved soon. I need to visit India sometime, I have not been since I came over here in spring2000 from France, am damn homesick.
This forum has been a great help - suggestions and guidance throughout.
will keep posted further happenings.

Labor substitution

Does your company has any approved labor . I have good project rates lined up for me in webMethods . I am former webMethods Consultant. Please le tme know you r thoughts ..I resigned webMethods just for a faster GC processing ...Help appreciated.

My wife and me are going for finger printing tomorrow (3/11) at Dallas office. Will let you know how it went once I get back.

No new EADs yet?
 
Go earily. It is open about 7:40am. Try as earily as you can. Otherwise you probably need to reschedule since they are over-scheduled. My FP was scheduled Feb. 20th 3:00pm. I got there at exact time but rescheduled on Feb 22nd. But after rescheduled, you don't have to stay in the line because you have priviledge.

I hope that this reply can be caught before you go since today is 3/11.

Thanks for your advise Steven. I did not read this message in time. However, I got a pleasant surprise today :).



We went to the INS office in Dallas 5 minutes before the scheduled time (8:55AM) and we were out by 10:05 AM. It took us exactly one hour and ten minutes. The whole process went very smoothly without any problem.



That was too good. Hopefully, we all will continue to get such pleasant surprises in future (EAD/I140/I485) :D



Anyone new from Dec filers received EAD?
 
They send you to your nearest field office. I think this system is centralized.

Hopefully, this answers your question. Someone else might know better.
 
how long it takes to update the case status information about FP? I got the FP done last week, but the online case status still says about FP schedule notice.
