I had one more question I downloaded the application form and do I need send another letter saying that I need pcc for canadian immigration and so on.

if you are mailing your passport to consulate, Then yes, But if you are going personally you can just tell them and they will write on form.

I got it done a while ago, Make sure you call them after 30 days, even if they say they will call you, don't bother you have to go and get it done.

One more thing if you renewed your passport or got new passport issued from consulate in USA, they will issue the PCC same day.

I am not sure about mailing, I got it done in personal. They need to stamp on your passport when they issue PCC. So I am not sure about requirements
 
check this for india PCC

www.cgihouston.org if you are living in south if not you can find links for other consulates for your Region like DC or sanfansisco.

You need to fillup a form with a photo etc.check miscellaeanous services section.

Hi all

I am new to this forum ... me n my husband will be applying for Canadian immigration ie submitting all the forms and document in a day or two... i just wanted to no if there is any information i shud need prior to mailing this ... we have included all the forms,FBI infomation , PCC from indian consulate and we have given the IELTS exams of which the result will be forwarded to the consulate directly, 4 fotos of us, copies of marriage cert, degree, work exp, ref letters...am i good to go... and i wanted to no how long will the complete procedure take ... a year or so?

Congratulations!! Can I ask you when you sent out your pp, and when did the immigration receive it? How long did it take between they received your pp till you received it back? Thanks a lot.

Guys,
Anybody here knows how much time it takes after submission of
Medicals and RPRF (Interviewed waived case) to get a request for
passport?
My time line is as below:
Applied: May 2002
AOR: Nov 2002
Interview waived: April 2004
Medicals & RPRF submitted: May 2004

Passport request: ?????

My case was transferred from Buffalo RPC to NY consulate.
Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Recently The immigration officlas sent a letter asking to fill the spousal questtionarie (imm-5490).

My question is is this need to fillup my wife or by me???

Question about the photographs.

I have a question regarding the photographs that need to be sent to the Buffalo office. I pasted two photographs on the main application form (for me and my wife), guess I missed some important note on sending extra photographs.

Please can someone explain how many copies of photographs need to be sent and if I can send them now at this later stage with reference to my file number. I filed for my Canadian PR in Feb'04 and my file date is 10/03/2004.

I would not worry about the number of passports. I am not sure how many I sent when I filed my PR.But CIC Buffalo is very random with their requirements. So don't do anything unlessl they ask for it.

guys ,
we better upload stuff as attachement instead of adding directly.
It's better to do in TXT file insted spreadsheet and other formats because they are little more in size take some time to load and unlod.txt files are easy and takes very little space.
