I have a few of questions for all the immigration gurus out there and would very much appreciate your responses:
Background
I sent in my Canadian PR application in Feb. of this year to the Buffalo, NY office. I did not take the IELTS exams but provided evidence of my proficiency in English (e.g., English-medium education, MBA from a US university, written research reports in English, studying/working in the US for the past five years, etc.). Given all the concerns I have been reading/hearing about, I now intend to take the IELTS exams.
1. Apparently, IELTS can send the score directly to CIC. Should I ask IELTS to do so?
2. If no to no. 1, where do I fax the score to? I see these two numbers being bandied about: 716-858-9591 and 716-855-0512.
3. What is the best way to explain to CIC to consider my IELTS score as opposed to looking only at the evidence of English proficiency?
4. I will be moving at the end of next month. Which of the above two fax numbers should I send my new address to?
Many thanks in advance.
