2005 Consolidated Tracker (140/EAD/AP/FP/485)

I registered my receipt numbers from the following URL as a customer and I saw an update yesterday on my EAD. So today morning I got an automate e-mail from them stating that "EAD is apporved and card is ordered" messages.

BTW, my case is a subst. labor and the PD is March-2001. Hope this helps.

I just got the FP notice on Friday and it is scheduled for 05/13. I have seen the similar pattern for couple of other cases in the immigration forum with the same Receipt date.

Hope you will receive your EAD's soon...

What is the EB2 process? Is it goes by PD date or RD date? I have filed in January 1st week and as per USCIS site my I 140 supposed to be completed? I am still waiting for approval. Please share your analysis or experiance.

I have received an autotmated mail today for dhs.org regarding the I-765(EAD) receipt notice stating that...."On May 11, 2005, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready."

Does this mean that my EAD has been approved? How long does it take to arrive?

My receipt date for concurrent application was 04/19/2005 (VSC subs labor).

Yes, it means your EAD is approved.
For me it took 4 business days. I got similar message on April 28th 2005 and received the EAD on May 3rd 2005.

140 and 485 Approved but EAD still pending :)

Hello Friends/Guides,

I have posted this in 2004 forum, however posting it again out here....

Finally my I-140 and 485 got approved today. Its been a long wait since this past 5 years. Thanks for each and every valuable information provided by all you friends that helped me and ofcourse hundreds others to finally get past this difficult and unpredictable phase of GC. Oh boy, I am so excited today…atleast no more worry about H1s and all.

However theres one little thing thats kind of strange.

I had an RFE on I-140 in the month of April/2005 for my Education Evaluation. My attorney had submitted an old Education Evaluation of mine (Obtained during the H1B filing 5 years back). Obtained the new Education Evaluation and submitted it to USCIS in the last week of April. This evening my 140 and 485 got approved but my EAD and Travel Document never got approved till date. Even now the status says the standard message of "Your application..was received on .." Well thats strange isn't it.

Well anyway I suppose GC matters more than the EAD.

Yes my 140/485/EAD/AP were filed from VSC on Dec 30th 2004.

First of all let me commend you guys for the upkeep of the tracker and this thread, I didn't have to do anything this time which is always great! :) This is your tracker and keep it in good shape, I would recommend one or two guys taking ownership of it and updating as needed. I want to add two more question to taht- If your EAD approved, how long Is it take to approve AP?
Is there any way can you get the AP from local INS office based on EAD?

This forum has been very useful to me. I have been a silent listener.

I have a colleague who got his 485 approved last week. Thought I would share the info.

EB3 VSC Labor priority date 2/28/2002, Concurrent filing done on 12/20/04. Finger printing done on 4/1/05. Received GC on 5/4/05.

Looks like they are not going strictly by the 485 filing date. Hard to figure out, but it just gives hope.

Please add my case information below to your tracker.

Labor: EB3 VSC PD - 2/28/02. AD - 12/29/04.
I140/485/EAD: RD - 3/21/05. ND - 3/24/05.
140 AD - 4/5/05
(My lawyer has received the approval notice. But, the web site still says "the case was received on the...")
EAD AD - 5/11/05
FP Done - 5/5/5 No LUD changes yet.
485/130 No LUD changes yet.

Today I saw a LUD in my 485 application. Does anybody know what this might be? So far no LUD's on my I140. With so many RFE's around this forum I started to get scared.

When you received the FP notice.. was there an update in the online status under your 485 receipt. saying something like .. FP notice sent..
OR is it they dont update the status but just send the notice to the lawyer and then lawyer sends the notice doc. to you.

Appreciate your help.

[1] Theres no LUD (Online status change) for 485 receipt when we receive the FP notice.
[2] The FP notice gets sent to you and attorney's office as well. You should get it at your home address.

Its only after the FP is done that gets reflected on your uscis.gov website for 485 case. The LUD changes with a brief message of "Finger Printing received ..."

My attorney had not put my home address in my 485 application . he had put my name c/o companies address.
I do not trust my attorney because he already gave me a hardtime during filing of my application. Is there a way that i can check whether a FP notice was issued on my application.

FP/485: Address Change

I am not aware of any online website besides the uscis.gov which gives us the current status of our case. But you can always check with uscis by calling them at 1 (800) 375-5283. They are quite helpful.

Also I suppose you can call them at that number and have your address changed to your current residence address, see if that works.

I know there are lots of other Gurus in this forum, if you all are reading this please advice or share your experience, we all can benefit.

Did you check with your lawyer? Yours might already have been approved. My 140 - RD was 3/21/05, ND 3/21/05 and AD 4/5/05. My lawyer received the approval notice on 4/8/05. But, the web site still says that the application is under process with one LUD change on 4/5/05. My lawyer asked me not to trust the web site all the time.
