I 140 , 485 approved with (Education 3+1)

Hello all !
I got approval email for 140 and 485 yesterday. I got approved with Education qualification 10+2+3+1(diploma). Went thru hell because of all the discussion going around for Edu. queries regarding 3+1 education. Let me know if any one has any questions.

I think(please check with an attorney) there is no problem if his 485 gets approved while abroad. I this CIS gives AP to travel while 485 is pending so there is no negative effect if it is approved.

When 485 is approved, the EADs, APs become invalid. This has been discussed in the 2003 thread if I remember correctly, check out that thread.

Not received receipt notice

140/485/EAD/AP application was sent to VSC RD:04/29/2005, they have not sent the receipt notice yet. Also, the checks were not deposited in the bank. Does anyone know how long its taking VSC to issue receipt notices? Your input is greatly appreciated. :confused: :confused: :confused:

congrats for ur 140 and 485 approval.
What kind of RFE did you get?

I have a question regarding the education
My husband has 3yrs (Bachelors in Computers) + 2yrs (Maters in Computers) +1 yr (diploma from a private firm).
His GC was filed in EB2 category.
Apart from these he has over 3 yrs of experience.

Do you see any compilcations in this case?
Would they accept 1 yr diploma from a private firm?
It has been almost more than 2 months we have filed concurrently for 140 and 485 and havn'e received anything regarding 140.

Appreciate ur help & coments on this

I have a quick question. I got my EAD card on May3rd 2005. When i see the update online, it says following. Do you also get an approval notice separately after getting the EAD card ??

" This case has been approved. On April 30, 2005, an approval notice was mailed. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283. "

VSC no receipt notice yet

I see that some people have sent their 140/485 application a week after I did to VSC and they got their receipt notice. Until today I have not received a receipt notice and the checks still not deposited in bank. It has been three weeks now. Any input will be greatly appreciated especially from those who applied in April 2005. Thank you. :( :( :(
 
No LUDs after FP

I was hoping to see some LUDs on my I485 by now as I have done the FP on 05/05/05 . MAA_1456 any news for you , since you have done the FP on the same date. I did call the FBI and they said that the results were sent back on the same date. Anybody else in similar situation.

Same here. It has been a couple of weeks since FP was done and no update yet.

Labor: EB3 VSC PD - 2/28/02. AD - 12/29/04.
I140/485/EAD: RD - 3/21/05. ND - 3/24/05.
140 AD - 4/5/05
(My lawyer has received the approval notice. But, the web site still says "the case was received on the...")
EAD AD - 5/11/05
131 AD - 5/13/05
FP Done - 5/5/05 No LUD changes yet.
485 No LUD changes yet.

9:44 AM Delivery exception WILLISTON, VT Rerouted to revised delivery address
9:44 AM Held at FedEx location for recipient pickup WILLISTON, VT Package available for pickup at: 921 MARSHALL AVE
8:28 AM At local FedEx facility WILLISTON, VT


If anyone send overnight via FEDEX to VSC you will see this tracking info but nothing to worry it seems VSC comes and pick it up everyday.
