Did you check with your lawyer? Yours might already have been approved. My 140 - RD was 3/21/05, ND 3/21/05 and AD 4/5/05. My lawyer received the approval notice on 4/8/05. But, the web site still says that the application is under process with one LUD change on 4/5/05. My lawyer asked me not to trust the web site all the time.

it is much easier to make my mother-in-law to love me than getting in touch with my lawyer. I called a few days last week and still no answer back. Of couse if it was about money she'd call me immediately. I called VSC and was told that my employer to make any inquiry. I'd prefer not, so I have to wait to see what happens.

Unfortunately for me, these LUDs mean nothing to me right now except a chance of RFE as my PD is not yet current (Oct 2002).

Anyway, good luck to you all!

I do wonder though if this could mean they received our name-check results which would be sweet.

got a chance to talk to attorney and he said the FP notice will directly come to my home address. USCIS sends that to the address on the file, which is always applicants home address and not the attroney's or company's address. Attorney/Company will receive only the receipt notices etc.

I am not aware of any online website besides the uscis.gov which gives us the current status of our case. But you can always check with uscis by calling them at 1 (800) 375-5283. They are quite helpful.

Also I suppose you can call them at that number and have your address changed to your current residence address, see if that works.

I know there are lots of other Gurus in this forum, if you all are reading this please advice or share your experience, we all can benefit.

It took 7 days to get the Receipt notice.
you can see my earlier posting how to get the EAC# from your checks(if you issued seperate checks) for filling.

My EAD already approved, there are mails from USCIS confirmed it about the EAD card will be mailed.....,
Again there is an upadte in EAD I got mails from CRIS & USCIS, it again say approved and mailed the approval, Waht is this CRIS?
There is another update today but no mails?
Please let me know any of you had the same kind of updates on their caes.

what is the adverse effects if trveling india priar to approved I140.
is this advisable or not (ie ..My wife ).

as long as you travel using AP, you are on the safe side

Hi rrdraj,

Yes, I also received same kind of mails both from CRIS and USCIS one after other three times one stating card has been ordered and other stating case has been approved for EAD, so I would not panic and wait for cards.

I would not travel with AP unless real emergency. Do you have any other visa to travel? If so use that not AP.

I think(please check with an attorney) there is no problem if his 485 gets approved while abroad. I this CIS gives AP to travel while 485 is pending so there is no negative effect if it is approved.

I applied for my I-140 and I 485 concurrently .
The paper work was sent last week to VSC
When does my 90 day count down period start for EAD

yeaterday i had asked about the number of days it takes to recieve the receipts and you had mentioned 7 days. (rd -nd = 7 days). my question
was how many days it took you to recieve the receipts. ND date being apr23
in your case, you must have recieved on apr 25 or 26th. the reason i am asking is because my case was filed on may3 and still no reciepts.

Hi kantha,
You should get it tomorrow 05/17/2005 or /05/18/2005. Did you try the checks methods. I got the RD and ND before I receive the Receipt #.
